Kavanaugh Accuser Goes Public With Assault Allegations In WaPo Interview

Kavanaugh Accuser Goes Public With Assault Allegations In WaPo Interview

Will Racke | Immigration and Foreign Policy Reporter

The writer of a confidential letter alleging Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh assaulted her at a high school party identified herself in an interview with The Washington Post published Sunday.

Christine Blasey Ford, a professor at Palo Alto University in California, says Kavanaugh and a friend accosted her at a house party in Montgomery County, Maryland, one summer in the early 1980s.

While the friend watched, a “stumbling drunk” Kavanaugh pinned her to a bed on her back and groped her over her clothes and bathing suit, Ford told WaPo.

Ford further claimed she was able to escape when the friend in the room, Kavanaugh’s Georgetown Preparatory School classmate Mark Judge, jumped on top of them, sending all three tumbling off the bed. Ford escaped and locked herself in a bathroom for a brief period before fleeing the house, she said.

Ford’s public revelations come two days after The New Yorker reported the contents of the letter but did not name her as the accuser. Ford had previously sent the letter to Sen. Dianne Feinstein of California, the ranking Democrat on the Judiciary Committee, through her congresswoman’s office in July.

Earlier that month, Ford contacted WaPo through a tip line when she saw that Kavanaugh was on the shortlist of possible nominees to replace Justice Anthony Kennedy, according to the WaPo report. By August, Ford had decided not to go public with her allegations because of the intense public scrutiny it would invite, she said.

Ford said she changed her mind after the story leaked and reporters began closing in on her as the author of the letter. Ford also felt the need to correct misinformation about the allegations, she told WaPo.

“These are all the ills that I was trying to avoid,” she said. “Now I feel like my civic responsibility is outweighing my anguish and terror about retaliation.”

Ford claims she told no one of the alleged assault “in any detail” until 2012, when she and her husband were in couple’s therapy. The therapist’s notes, which Ford reportedly provided to WaPo, do not identify Kavanaugh by name.

However, the notes report that Ford said she was attacked by students “from an elitist boys’ school” who went on to become “highly respected and high-ranking members of society in Washington.”

The notes say four boys were involved in the alleged assault, a discrepancy Ford attributed to an error on the part of the therapist. There were four boys at the party but only two — Kavanaugh and Judge — in the room, she said.

In response to the WaPo story, the White House reiterated a statement that Kavanaugh issued Friday after details of Ford’s allegation became public.

“I categorically and unequivocally deny this allegation,” Kavanaugh said in a statement. “I did not do this back in high school or at any time.”

Judge has also denied that the incident described in The New Yorker report occurred, telling The Weekly Standard on Friday that the allegations were “just absolutely nuts.”

“I never saw Brett act that way,” Judge told TWS.

From her statements, there were 4 boys and her. No other girls or parents. She doesn't know where she was or how she got there, she's in a one piece bathing suit and clothes? Why? Was it a swimming party? Who ends up somewhere in a bathing suit without knowing where they were or how they got there?? Did she try to crash in on the party and they sent her away, hurt her feelings? That's what it sounds like to me. And no one in the 80's worse a one piece bathing suit, except old people.

Nothing Burger, MOVE ON and confirm Brett Kavanaugh without hesitation or concern.

Christine Blasey Ford, a professor at Palo Alto University in California, says Kavanaugh and a friend accosted her at a house party in Montgomery County, Maryland, one summer in the early 1980s.
"One summer"? She can't even document what summer, much less what date!

Ford further claimed she was able to escape when the friend in the room, Kavanaugh’s Georgetown Preparatory School classmate Mark Judge, jumped on top of them, sending all three tumbling off the bed.
So now it was attempted "gang rape"?

Earlier that month, Ford contacted WaPo through a tip line when she saw that Kavanaugh was on the shortlist of possible nominees to replace Justice Anthony Kennedy, according to the WaPo report.
So she didn't feel abused until she saw a conservative near getting the nod for the Supreme Court.

Ford claims she told no one of the alleged assault “in any detail” until 2012, when she and her husband were in couple’s therapy. The therapist’s notes, which Ford reportedly provided to WaPo, do not identify Kavanaugh by name.
So the documents she provided could be any patient's notes. And she saw no reason to report it when this supposedly horrible attack happened, not even telling family, friends, or authorities about it until 2012.

The notes say four boys were involved in the alleged assault, a discrepancy Ford attributed to an error on the part of the therapist.
Her memory was fuzzy when she was with the therapist, but now is crystal clear.

On Fox News Sunday, they said this "professor" had help from the university in writing the secret letter. IT LOOKS LIKE A CONSPIRACY TO ME! They should all be prosecuted.

BREAKING: Writer of Confidential Kavanaugh Letter Speaks Out – She’s a Far-Left Activist!

by Cristina Laila September 16, 2018

Senate Democrats on the Judiciary Committee are working overtime to delay Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation to the Supreme Court.

On Thursday, ranking member of the Senate Judiciary Committee Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) referred a mysterious letter about Kavanaugh to the FBI.

Feinstein said in a statement Thursday to the feds that she “received information from an individual concerning the nomination.”
Feinstein released a statement via The Intercept:
“I have received information from an individual concerning the nomination of Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court. That individual strongly requested confidentiality, declined to come forward or press the matter further, and I have honored that decision. I have, however, referred the matter to federal investigative authorities.”
It turns out the woman who sent the letter to Democrat lawmakers is a far-left activist.

Christine Blasey Ford, a California professor and far left activist, wrote a letter to a Democrat lawmaker earlier this summer claiming she was sexually assaulted by Brett Kavanaugh while they were in high school in Maryland over three decades ago.

    Via the Washington Post:
Speaking publicly for the first time, Ford said that one summer in the early 1980s, Kavanaugh and a friend — both “stumbling drunk,” Ford alleges — corralled her into a bedroom during a gathering of teenagers at a house in Montgomery County.
While his friend watched, she said, Kavanaugh pinned her to a bed on her back and groped her over her clothes, grinding his body against hers and clumsily attempting to pull off her one-piece bathing suit and the clothing she wore over it. When she tried to scream, she said, he put his hand over her mouth.
“I thought he might inadvertently kill me,” said Ford, now a 51-year-old research psychologist in northern California. “He was trying to attack me and remove my clothing.”
Ford said she was able to escape when Kavanaugh’s friend and classmate at Georgetown Preparatory School, Mark Judge, jumped on top of them, sending all three tumbling. She said she ran from the room, briefly locked herself in a bathroom and then fled the house.
Independent journalist Mike Cernovich says Christine Blasey is a far-left activist who spent all weekend deleting her social media accounts.
The Dems are so dirty they had to go back over three decades to Kavanaugh’s high school days to dig up ‘dirt’ using a left-wing activist.
    Pathetic.
Kavanaugh categorically denied the allegations on Thursday in a statement.
The White House also released a statement.
“Senator Schumer promised to ‘oppose Judge Kavanaugh’s nomination with everything I have,’ and it appears he is delivering with this 11th hour attempt to delay the confirmation.”

"I Thought He Might Inadvertently Kill Me" - Kavanaugh Accuser Breaks Silence

“I thought he might inadvertently kill me,” Ford said. “He was trying to attack me and remove my clothing.”

Following Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh's "categorical and unequivocal" denial of allegations of sexual misconduct that Democrats had been aware of since July, referred to the FBI this week, who then confirmed they would not investigate the matter; the accuser has gone public.
As The Washington Post reports, Christine Blasey Ford, now a 51-year-old professor at Palo Alto University in California, has come forward as the person who wrote a confidential letter to a senior Democratic lawmaker alleging that Supreme Court nominee Brett M. Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her more than three decades ago, when they were high school students in suburban Maryland.

As The Hill reports, Ford described an incident between the two in high school, alleging that Kavanaugh pinned her to a bed one summer in the 1980s and forced himself on her.

Ford told the Post that Kavanaugh "groped her over her clothes, grinding his body against hers and clumsily attempting to pull off her one-piece bathing suit and the clothing she wore over it."
She also said Kavanaugh put his hand over her mouth when she attempted to scream for help.
“I thought he might inadvertently kill me,” Ford said.
“He was trying to attack me and remove my clothing.”
While it should not matter in this case of she-said-he-said, we note that Ford is a Democrat who made donations to various Democratic recipients.
Kavanugh vehemently denied these allegations last week:
"I categorically and unequivocally deny this allegation,” Kavanaugh said in a statement provided by the White House, his first comments on the allegations.
“I did not do this back in high school or at any time.”
Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley's (R-Iowa) office sent out a letter on Friday morning from 65 women who knew Kavanaugh when he was in high school.
"We are women who have known Brett Kavanaugh for more than 35 years and knew him while he attended high school between 1979 and 1983,” the letter states.
“For the entire time we have known Brett Kavanaugh, he has behaved honorably and treated women with respect.”
"We strongly believe it is important to convey this information to the Committee at this time," they added.
Grasssley's office added that Kavanaugh has undergone six FBI investigations since 1993 and "no such allegation resembling the anonymous claims" was included in the FBI reports, and that, separately, no similar allegations have been brought to Republican members of the Judiciary Committee or staff.
Of course, this new escalation has prompted a whole new swarm of politiki-speak from both sides...
Sen. Chuck Schumer: "Senator Grassley must postpone the vote until, at a very minimum, these serious and credible allegations are thoroughly investigated."
Sen. Diane Feinstein: "I support Mrs. Ford's decision to share her story, and now that she has, it is in the hands of the FBI to conduct an investigation. This should happen before the Senate moves forward on this nominee."
Sen. Kamala Harris: "Christine Blasey Ford courageously stepped forward to tell her story — it is a credible and serious allegation. The Senate has a constitutional responsibility to scrutinize SCOTUS nominees. A vote on Kavanaugh’s nomination must be delayed until there is a thorough investigation."
There's just one thing that makes all that holier-than-thou-speak a little awkward:

    PinkAboutIt ‏ @Pink_About_it
Democrats: Believe Christine Blasey Ford's allegations against Kavanaugh fully because victims should be taken seriously Also democrats: Keith Ellison abuse allegations do not have enough evidence despite a 911 call which actually exists.
    12:45 PM - 16 Sep 2018

    And as Senate Judiciary Republicans:
"It’s disturbing that these uncorroborated allegations from more than 35 years ago, during high school, would surface on the eve of a committee vote after Democrats sat on them since July. If Ranking Member Feinstein and other Committee Democrats took this claim seriously, they should have brought it to the full Committee’s attention much earlier. "
