Right. Apparently the news thought they had hit several airbases. But apparently it was just one but several different types of facilities within that one airbase at Shayrat. It's a huge base. They had also misreported that the Russians weren't notified, but they were notified through our military to theirs in Syria.

Using a deadly nerve agent, Assad choked out the lives of innocent men, women and children. It was a slow and brutal death for so many. Even beautiful babies were cruelly murdered in this very barbaric attack. No child of God should ever suffer such horror.

Yes, it was the babies that provoked this blunder. The little, tiny, innocent, beautiful babies that were killed provoked the 50 missile attack on this Cold War relic in Syria. Somebody put the Special Boo-Boo Hurt on the Fetus and so we trip once again into disaster in the Middle East. Nice work Donald. No surprise that MW show enthusiasm as well.

I think you probably meant "disconcerting" instead of "discerning", but I'll plead guilty on both charges.

The innocence of babies is not exactly exciting since a baby can't do anything but eat, cry and poop. The innocence of adults is a more challenging issue requiring real moral judgement and serious inquiry instead of an idle, easily excited imagination. The persecution of the innocent among the more experienced and able is a better source of moral outrage.
