PA-The Truth About Illegal Aliens' Costs
The Truth About Illegal Aliens' Costs
The Philadelphia Inquirer
August 23, 2009 Sunday
In the Immigration Policy Center's attempt to convince Pennsylvanians that granting amnesty to illegal aliens is vital to the state's economy, Walter Ewing obviously hopes that no one will notice that the economic data he used has NOTHING to do with illegal aliens ("Immigrants are vital to recovery," Monday).
The op-ed deceptively conflates the economic contributions of all Latinos and Asians in Pennsylvania with those of illegal aliens. Nothing in the op-ed provides readers with information about the economic contributions of illegal aliens only.
A recent report by the Federation for American Immigration Reform, however, does spell out how much the state's estimated 140,000 illegal aliens are costing Pennsylvanians.
The costs of providing K-12 education to the children of illegal aliens, unreimbursed health care, and incarcerating criminal illegal aliens runs Pennsylvania taxpayers $728 million a year.
What IS vital to economic recovery is making sure that American workers have an opportunity to fill the estimated seven million jobs now held by illegal aliens.

Illegals= Crime, high taxes and lower quality of life.
Every where there is a high illegals population, taxes are higher for Americans, the crime rate is higher, gangs come in, schools get worse, hospitals close, neighborhoods get trashed, unemployment for Americans increases, and the quality of life for American citizens decreases exponentially.
