March Madness or Healthcare Madness – Both Headaches

On Monday morning, March 22, 2010, I had a hangover. I did; a hangover of major proportions as a result of watching the most embarrassing display of anti-Americanism to soil our TV screens in the history of that medium.

I watched as 219 anti-Americans, savoring only their own greed and false joy at passing a bloated, mistake-filled, freedom robbing, elderly-abusing, unconscionably expensive, ultra-high tax resulting piece of absolute trash that does NOTHING to remedy the perceived shortcomings of the most efficient medical system in the entire world.

When you consider that one of the most often quoted reasons claimed as needed was reform of the insurance companies’ practices and policies, then as the old 1960s Broadway musical said, “A funny thing happened on the way to the Forum.â€
