While citizens die, Pelosi plunders our treasury to fund Washington’s political propaganda machine

Tucked away in the coronavirus recovery bill [National economic stabilization bill] we find $75 million to fund Washington’s propaganda machine, the Corporation For Public Broadcasting. And this is in addition to another $75 million for the National Endowment For the Arts, and still another $75 million for the National Endowment for the Humanities, not to mention $25 million for The John F. Kennedy Center For The Performing Arts, Congress’ beloved entertainment center.

Of course, not only is federal funding of the “arts” not authorized by our federal Constitution, but taxing and spending for this purpose has given us such things as Andres Serrano’s anti-Christian bigotry called “P*** Christ”; Robert Mapplethorpe’s homosexual display called “The Perfect Moment”; Annie Sprinkle’s pornographic performances at a New York theater; Karen Finley, “the nude, chocolate smeared women”; Kyle Abraham’s “The Watershed and When the Wolves Came In” focusing on sexual identity; a 2016 festival for sexual deviant singing groups who appeared in a “flash mob” in Denver; taxpayer financing for a sexual deviant festival in San Francisco; funding for the Feminist Press at the City University of New York to digitize classic LGBT titles; an open mic group in D.C for story telling about “Queer Culture in America"; and the recent venomous and hateful smut financed by tax revenue being Shakespeare In Central Park, depicting the violent murder of President Trump ___ the funding of which is a plain violation of a working person’s 1st Amendment protections who will have a portion of their earned wages confiscated to finance the speech and expressions of others!

So, how does federal funding of the arts violate a taxpayer’s guarantee that Congress shall make no law …abridging freedom of speech? Federal funding does so by allowing A, who has received federal grant money taxed away from B, to vocalize and express their opinions and feelings in a more forceful manner than B, who has been taxed to finance A’s expressions and feelings in public, while B’s financial resources are reduced by the hand of the federal government in its quest to fund A’s speech and expressions.

Now, what does our Constitution state in crystal clear language? It states under Article 1, Section 8, Clause 8:

Congress shall have power “To promote the Progress of Science and useful Arts . . . ” And what is the limitation placed on this power to “promote”? Clause 8, continues: “. . . by securing for limited Times to Authors and Inventors the exclusive Right to their respective Writings and Discoveries.”

There is absolutely nothing in the above grant of power authorizing Congress to finance the progress of Science and useful Arts. Additionally, “useful Arts” within the meaning of our Constitution has nothing to do with artistic expressions as found in Hollywood or the preforming arts. The phrase applies to science, to innovations in manufacturing, and in agricultural and other useful activities. Now, let us review some history of our Constitution’s framing.

In fact, during the debates creating our Constitution and particularly on August 18th Mr. MADISON, and Mr. PINKNEY moved to insert a number of powers vested in Congress relevant to this discussion, but in committee a number of them were intentionally removed or altered.

And in regard to promoting science and useful arts the language was made explicitly clear as documented above.

Additionally, in 1792 in a debate concerning code fisheries, Representatives Page reminds those in attendance that:

"The framers of the Constitution guarded so much against a possibility of such partial preferences as might be given, if Congress had the right to grant them, that, even to encourage learning and useful arts, the granting of patents is the extent of their power.” Annals of Congress Feb 7th,1792 Representative Page

And here we are today, hardworking wage earners are having a portion of their paychecks confiscated by Nancy Pelosi to fund Congress’ entertainment center, and political propaganda institutions which are used to advocate the alleged virtues of communism and socialism, and outright smut.

We need to line item veto EVERY budget. I am sick of the wasteful spending and funding these organizations.

Defund the One Billion given to churches bringing refugees here! I do not want to pay for this AND pay for them when they are dumped in our communities.

This is embezzlement and misappropriation of our tax dollars and this is out of control.

We are now $25 trillion in debt and that will be doubled in no time!!! Knock it off already.

Do not forget, these vulgar swamp rats will be passing another "budget" this Fall and here we go again with threats of government shutdowns while they shove their PORK down our throats with their foot on our necks and hold us hostage.

We need radical change to end this abuse of our tax dollars.

Let us not forget that President Trump, I’m sad to say, has joined the swamp!

Trump defends $25 million in Kennedy Center funding in coronavirus stimulus
    1

"President Trump on Wednesday defended the inclusion of $25 million in funding for the Kennedy Center as part of the massive economic relief bill aimed at boosting small businesses and workers harmed by the fallout of the coronavirus."

Instead of embracing the misappropriation of federal revenue to the Kennedy Center, Congress' play center, Trump should have asked Kennedy Center's President, Deborah Rutter, to contribute her $1.2 million salary to Kennedy Center workers harmed by the fallout of the coronavirus.

What is absolutely sickening is, after $25 million was given to the Kennedy Center, they closed their doors and let go of their employees.

They had to make sure there was enough money available to pay Kennedy Center’s President, Deborah Rutter’s, $1.2 million salary. And screw everyone else!

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez claims to be an advocate of hard working people living in the Bronx. If that is so, why is she not advocating an end to the unconstitutional “Temporary Victory Tax” of 1943, which began today’s un-apportioned federal direct tax on the property which working people have earned by the sweat of their labor?
