Honestly, think about what is being said/or suggested and think about the reality of it.
There is no such thing, as I said, as a little war. For one thing, that isn't what the warmongers want - they want a war that last a long, long time, costs a lot of money.
There is no such thing as a war without repercussions. Just look at what we are reaping now with all the 'refugees'.
We have no money to wage a war - even if our war profiteers were semi honest people and didn't gouge. We have no money, it would be waged on borrowed money. Our debt is already so very dangerous. It just may do us in before some outside force.
AND - the rhetoric is take out NK, maybe go into Guam, maybe go into the Philipines, now it's maybe Venezuela.
If we had stayed out of Venezuela and left it alone, maybe it could have solved it's own problems. Sad to say, that has been the case for most of the wars we have had to fight. We create the problem, then stage a war to fix it.
No wonder China is saying they won't get involved - kinda giving their OK - they can furnish us supplies, uniforms, etc, and loan us the money.
It's a bit like the mob selling us drugs and loaning us the money at exorbitant interest
Think about it - it's a win-win.
It is time to stop and I really did not expect this from Pres. Trump.
We CAN fix the illegal problem, we can fix the drug problem. We can't fix this constant war waging - and we can't fix the debt as long as we have this ability and mindset to start a war anytime we choose.
What is wrong with this country?

The entire country of North Korea is a prison state and Kim Jong-un is its sadistic warden. As long as we can keep its military from flooding across the DMZ, even a retaliatory strike from North Korea might be tolerable to bring the whole nightmare down.
Really, the current situation situation cannot go on forever and negotiation with this regime is pointless. This country is worse than Iran, even while Iran is the greater threat.Support ALIPAC'sFIGHT AGAINST illegal immigration & Amnesty by joining our E-mail Alerts at http://eepurl.com/cktGTn

Ok, I went back and actually read the article posted in this section by John Doe on 8-11. I have egg on my face on this one. I admit, I only read the title of the article which states that China told North Korea that they are on their own if they bomb us and we retaliate, but it does say in the article itself that they will get involved if we bomb them first. If North Korea is stupid enough to try to bomb us, we have the capability to knock out their missle in mid flight, then I say we bomb the crap out of them.

Have we ever fought a war that was over quickly?
It's not profitable to do so.

Taking back Kuwait from Iraq was a single term effort completed by HW Bush. It was a complete success. The only complaints about it were that we did not continue on to Baghdad to take Iraq. We did that later under W Bush and look what a mess we have as result. We are still cleaning up after that and the advance of ISIS and its holding of territory is a direct consequence.

We still had to monitor the sanctions, the no fly zone, etc.
It still isn't over - that was just stage 1.

White House Chief Strategist Steve Bannon said "There's no military solution [to North Korea's nuclear threats], forget it."
"Until someone solves the part of the equation that shows me that ten million people in Seoul don't die in the first 30 minutes from conventional weapons, I don't know what you're talking about, there's no military solution here, they got us," Bannon said.

They do not "got us". He's trying to get fired for some reason.
For any American official in any capacity to say such a thing about any country and any conflict is just well, grounds for immediate dismissal. North Korea has a total population of 23 million. The United States can squash them in 8 hours. With help from Russia, it can be done in 2 hours. This is actually the easiest war we'll have ever fought with the technology we have today. For any US official to lead anyone, American, Allies or Enemies, to believe anything other than we can wipe this shit-hole country off the face of the map by supper-time isn't doing their job and shouldn't have one.A Nation Without Borders Is Not A Nation - Ronald Reagan
