The 392 seized packages were stacked at a Tijuana military base, where Gen. Sergio Aponte Polito, commander of the Second Military Zone in Baja California briefed reporters.

Advertisement Mexico's military has become increasingly involved in the battle against organized crime. The general said that since he came to head up military forces in Baja California, his forces have seized more than 1.15 million pounds of marijuana and 8,800 pounds of cocaine.
