Arab-American Women Sue McDonalds

DEARBORN, MI – Two Muslim women from Detroit are suing McDonald's for rejecting their employment
application because they wore hijabs. The lawsuit alleges that the women were denied jobs based on their
religious beliefs and dress. The manager told both plaintiffs that they weren't going to work at McDonald's unless they removed their head scarves. The McDonald's at Ford Road in Dearborn caters to numbers
of Arab Americans and serves halal chicken. Backers of the suit asked McDonald's to review its dress code
policy and make provisions to accommodate the religious attire of employees

All I can say is that if I walk into any fast food joint and see somebody dressed up for Halloween it better be in October or I'm leaving!

I second that!

I would run out screaming to make a statement that it wasn't smart to hire people who cover their whole body and faces.
McDonalds should be proactive and put NO HATS allowed in their dress code! Political correctness is sinking our country.

Let it through once and there goes the country. Someone needs to take on these people and let them know that if they want to reside here, they do as we do! But why should they when we have cowards addressing these ridiculous crap!

On this one I stand with McDonalds

If you can't at least dress like an American why are you here?

Here's the funny thing. Go to an Arab country and if a woman walks around with short pants and a short sleeved shirt-she gets deported. No immigration hearing, no court date. She is on the next plane out of the country. THis happened to a friend's wife while they were living in Saudi. She was deported the day after she ran across the street wearing short pants.

If she would have dared to say, "You are not respecting my culture's dress code", she probably would have done jail time.

They come here and they want everything, go to their country and the DO NOT reciprocate!!!!

This is what happens when you let an ethnic group such as this take over in an area now known as Dearbornistan. These people take over and then have the balls to sue an AMERICAN company for not bending to thier will. Such arrogance from foreigners is what is sinking this country!

This madness has to stop!

Why are they here? UH..let me think.........to DOMINATE us maybe, yeah could be to destroy our country as they said they would.

I agree with McDonalds about the dress code. However, I want to point out a big problem with the following:

McDonalds should be proactive and put NO HATS allowed in their dress code! Political correctness is sinking our country.

Many health inspectors REQUIRE people working in restaurants to wear either a hat, hair net or otherwise secure hair for health reasons. A policy banning hats, even if not a requirement, might be in violation of the health code. Some restaurants where head gear is not required appreciate it if employees who have dandruff or shed heavily voluntarily do one of the above.

Every organization should have the right to set their own dress code. If you don't like it, don't apply. Seems fairly simple to me.

Were are they sent? The receiving country has to agree to accept them.
