In a packed courtroom, 52-year-old Ernie Tertelgte told the judge “I am a living man protected by natural law and I have the right to forage for food when I am hungry… You are trying to create a fictitious, fraudulent action.”

Charged with fishing without a license and resisting the arrest for fishing without a license, Mr. Tertegte says he’s being wrongly prosecuted for trying to feed himself.

Is This The Way To Fight Back?: Man Charged With Fishing Without License Accuses Court, System Of Violating Natural Law, Judge Walks Out

November 25, 2013 by Personal Liberty News Desk

Charged with fishing without a license, 52-year-old Ernie Tertelgte told the judge “I am a living man protected by natural law and I have the right to forage for food when I am hungry… You are trying to create a fictitious, fraudulent action.”

Tertelgte, speaking of the arresting officers, also told the judge, “those men were charged by me right back by staging an overthrow of the Constitution of 1789, and the overthrow Bill of Rights, and overthrow of my rights to forage for food as a natural living person who was in hunger. I was searching for something to put in my stomach as I am recognized to be allowed to by universal law… They violated everything.”

When the judge noted that he had pleaded not guilty, Terteltge countered, “I never plead, animals plead, sounds like baaaa, oink oink.”

The hearing ended after the judge walked out of the courtroom after unsuccessfully asking the bailiff to arrest Tertelgte for contempt. According to a report, Tertelgte’s has another court hearing scheduled for January.
