Can you taste the tantrum? MSNBC’s media meltdown began on Tuesday, hours before nationwide polling stations had even closed. The liberal loonies who run rampant over at that network have been so frustrated with the midterm election results that they can barely even maintain a cogent narrative. So, when you’re lefty who’s irked and irritated that a majority of Americans have essentially abandoned your world view, what’s to be done? Why, count down the days until their deaths, of course! That’s exactly what Jimmy Williams did during an appearance on MSNBC’s The Cycle — yes, the same Jimmy Williams who once insisted that Democrats never had an interest in impeaching President Bush — while discussing the power and influence of southern voters. “That’s a changing South,” Williams said. “Those old white people? They’re going to die someday. And who’s going to be there to replace them? People that want you to be for them, not against them.” After his ridiculous comment, Abby Huntsman — Jon Huntsman’s supposedly conservative daughter — applauded him and suggested he “run for office.”

Anti-Amnesty, Pro-Border Security GOP Candidates in TX, GA Got Over 40% of Latino Vote

Though the mainstream press, liberals, and establishment Republicans incessantly declare that Republicans can't win Hispanics without passing massive amnesty legislation, two Republicans who ran on border security and against amnesty received a significant amount of support from Latino voters on Tuesday.

GOP Texas Governor-elect Greg Abbott received 44% of the Latino vote, which was more than the 38% of the Hispanic vote that Republican Governor Rick Perry, who enacted and supported Texas's version of the DREAM Act, received in 2010, as the New York Times noted. Hispanics, according to the Times, make up 17% of the electorate in Texas, which trails only California in its Latino population.

According to exit polling, Abbott won 50% of Latino men, 39% of Latinas, and 44% of the Latino vote overall.

In Georgia, GOP Senate candidate David Perdue, who signed the Federation of American Immigration Reform's (FAIR) anti-amnesty pledge and ran strongly against President Barack Obama's executive amnesty, received 42% of the Hispanic vote.
