Despite all the talk about Moderna's COVID-19 vaccine being more accessible than the Pfizer-BioNTech iteration due to the less-stringent temperature requirements, it appears that several batches of the vaccine shipped out to Texas last week have effectively spoiled due to "straying from their temperature requirements," according to Bloomberg.
With the US vaccination program lagging far behind Operation Warp Speed year-end targets, at least three shipments of spoiled Moderna vaccines arrived in Texas last week, prompting a delay in future deliveries to the Lone Star state as investigators scramble to figure out what happened.

It's unclear how many doses were affected, or who might be culpable for the mistake. While the affected shipments have been replaced by the federal government, and others were held back by US officials as they looked into issues with temperature sensors, Kroll told reporters that many hospitals in the state were only just now getting doses that were expected a week ago."Some of the shipments for week 2 were delayed and were not received by providers until Monday and Tuesday of this week," Lara Anton, a spokeswoman for the Texas Department of State Health Services, said in an email. The delay contributed to the appearance that Texas has administered a relatively small portion of the vaccine doses allocated to the state.As of Monday, only 2.13MM Americans had received the shots, despite the fact that 11.45MM doses of the vaccines made by Moderna and Pfizer have been distributed to the states.
Kroll, the hospital association official, said hospitals were just now getting some doses that were expected a week ago, but the numbers in the states’ vaccine allocation don’t reflect the delay.
Other reporting problems may make it seem like Texas medical providers are administering fewer shots than they are in reality, she said. Some hospital systems have had trouble with the data system the state uses to track immunizations, she said. Shots they administer aren’t properly logged in the central system, and the discrepancies need to be resolved case-by-case.
"It’ll look like there’s vaccine sitting on the shelf when it’s actually been administered," Kroll said.
Many of the larger states like New York and California have lagged, so West Virginia and other smaller states are reporting the highest rates so far.

After an Israeli man reportedly died just 2 hours after receiving his first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, authorities in the Swiss Canton of Lucerne said on Wednesday that one of the first people in the country to receive the vaccine has died, though whether his death had anything to do with the inoculation hasn't yet been determined.

The canton has yet to release any additional details about the exact amount of time that passed between the inoculation and the man's death.
Lucerne was the site of the first vaccinations in Switzerland beginning last week, with a shot from Pfizer and its German partner BioNTech given primarily to elderly people. Switzerland has received 107K vaccine doses, so far, and expects to get 250K per month starting next year.
"We are aware of the case," a spokesperson said, before adding that the death had been referred to Swiss drugs regulator Swissmedic. Swissmedic didn't comment further.
Pfizer and BioNTech’s vaccine is the only vaccine approved, so far, in Switzerland. The EU has just started approving the jabs on an emergency-use basis, with the first injections starting earlier this week.

(Natural News) A Boston physician was nearly intubated after taking the first dose of the Moderna coronavirus vaccine. Boston Medical Center’s very own, Dr. Hossein Sadrzadeh, suffered from a severe allergic reaction to the vaccine.
The vaccine injury was an acute medical emergency, occurring within minutes of the injection. The shot increased his heart rate almost immediately. In minutes, his tongue and throat started to tingle before going completely numb. He administered an EpiPen, something he kept on his person due to his history of shellfish allergies. This wasn’t enough to stop the reaction. Dr. Hossein needed medical intervention quickly as his blood pressure dropped dramatically, falling below what was detectable on the monitor.
The doctor was admitted to the ER on Christmas Eve for “shortness of breath, dizziness, palpitations, and numbness” after receiving Moderna’s covid-19 vaccine. The doctors administered Benadryl and steroids immediately.
Vaccine injured doctor encourages people with allergies to get the shot “in a hospital setting”
On Christmas Day the vaccine injured doctor began to feel normal again. “I feel that if I did not have my EpiPen with me, I would be intubated right now, because it was that severe,” he said after being discharged. He said the experience was the worst allergic reaction he had experienced since he was 11 years old.
Even though he was almost intubated due to the effects of the vaccine, the doctor still recommends that people with allergies get the vaccines as soon as they become available, as long as it’s “in a hospital setting.”
“I really don’t want anybody to go and experience this and go through this event that I had,” he said. In the spirit of medical malpractice, the doctor still believes the vaccine is important, though. He just wants all vaccine recipients to be aware that they too could suffer an allergic reaction. He believes its important for individuals with allergies to have emergency medical care available to them when taking the vaccine.
Doctor offers his blood to his abusers so they can find out why his body won’t tolerate the vaccine
“I knew the symptoms. I had the experience. I was a physician, and I was scared to death. Imagine someone who does not have the information,” the vaccine injured doctor said. Worshiping at the feet of his abuser, Dr. Hossein is now donating his blood to Moderna, the company responsible for the injury. The doctor hopes the company can use his blood sample to identify the ingredient that triggered the allergic reaction. The main culprit behind the vaccine injury is most likely polyethylene glycol (PEG), the lipid nano-particle delivery system that coats the mRNA in the vaccine.
But Moderna, like all other vaccine companies, is not liable for vaccine injury and will not be required to remove their product from the market or improve upon it. Even as vaccine injuries abound, the companies will not be held before a trial by jury. In the past year, vaccine makers entered into liability-free contracts with governments around the world, indemnifying themselves from legal responsibility. Therefore, the doctor offers his blood in vain to the scientists who nearly took his life.
To make matters worse, almost every media outlet is reporting that the vaccine is not responsible for the reaction, that the person who suffers from the reaction is to blame. Moderna and other pharmaceutical companies may soon find an entirely new way to exploit humans, by identifying and targeting the parts of their immune system that are a hindrance to their vaccine science. These companies, consumed by their own God-complex, could pinpoint the “faults” in human genetics and immune function, as they configure optimal pathways to genetically modify humans so they can introduce their vaccine programs flawlessly.
