The question is finally answered by Obama himself as to the name of the Hawaii hospital where he was born in Aug. 1961.

In a recent January 2009 letter to Kapiolani Hospital, Obama happily says he was born at that hospital.

1. So, my question is this to President Obama/Soetoro: If you easily admit to Kapiolani hospital officials that you were born there, presumably on Aug. 4, 1961 , the day you claim is your birthdate, then why do you have such a big problem with releasing your 1961 birth hospital records for all to see?

2. My point is this, Mr. President Obama/Soetoro: What is in your Kapiolani Hospital birth records from about 47 years ago that you don't want the public to see?

3. Is there something in your 1961 birth hospital records that would be damaging to you today? Would it prove that you have lied about your past over the 47 years of your life?

4. I believe that there is, or else you would not be fighting so hard in court to keep the public from examining your 1961 Kapiolani hospital birth records.

5. Stanley Anne Dunham, Obama's mother, who is now deceased: Let's look at her situation as it applies to Aug. 4, 1961, the day Obama claims as his birthdate at Kapiolani Hospital:

By accepting and approving President Obama's statement that he, Obama, was born at Kapiolani, are Kapiolani hospital officials unwittingly opening a Pandora's box for a very good reporter to put pressure on Kapiolani hospital to make an official, written statement that Obama's mother was a patient, or was not a patient, there on Aug. 4, 1961?

6. As we know, Obama's mother passed away many years ago.

7. So the point I'm trying to make is this: As I understand the new hospital privacy laws, if a very good reporter walks into Kapiolani hospital tomorrow and asks if a Stanley Ann Dunham or a Stanley Ann Obama was a patient there on Aug. 4, 1961, Obama's birthdate, the hospital would legally have to tell him.

8. That is, Kapiolani hospital officials could not reveal any Stanley Dunham or Stanley Obama records to the reporter without a court order, as I understand it, but it would be legally obliged to officially tell the reporter if a Stanley Dunham or Stanley Obama was a patient on Aug. 4, 1961.

9. So we need a very good reporter to do the following: We need him to go right up to Kapiolani hospital and demand to know officially if a Stanley Dunham or a Stanley Obama was a patient on Aug. 4. 1961, a woman who died many years ago.

10. If Kapiolani hospital officials won't cooperate, then the very good reporter needs to go to court and force Kapiolani hospital to reveal to the reporter if the deceased Stanley Dunham or Stanley Obama was a patient, or not a patient, at the hospital on Aug. 4, 1961.

11. If the very good reporter finds out that Stanley Ann Dunham or Stanley Ann Obama was NOT a patient at Kapiolani Hospital on Aug. 4, 1961, the day Obama claims as his birthdate, then I think that President Obama/Soetoro has a lot of explaining to do.

Dear President Obama/Soetoro:

In a public letter to Kapiolani hospital in Hawaii dated January 2009, you wrote that it was "the place of my birth".

How do you know that?

I ask you that question for this reason: The so-called Hawaii birth certificate that you post on the internet does not have the names of your birth hospital or your birth doctor on it.

1. Are you simply relying on what your mother or grandparents told you about where you were born?

2. Or, at some point in your 47 years, did you stop by Kapiolani hospital and look at your mother's records of Aug. 4, 1961, the day you claim is your birthdate?

3. Or, do you have a copy of your long form birth certificate from Hawaii---a certificate that the State of Hawaii won't release to the public---because, as you know, the long form Hawaii birth certificate should have the names of your birth hospital and birth doctor on it?

4. Wait a minute: If you do indeed have a copy of your Hawaii long form birth certificate---the one with the names of your birth hospital and your birth doctor on it--why didn't you post that birth certificate on the internet instead of posting the short form Hawaii birth certificate that we all see on the internet now?

5. If I were a reporter, I would ask you or your representative the following question at a White House press conference:

"Mr. President, how do you know that Kapiolani hospital
is the place of your birth as you claim in a letter to Kapiolani hospital dated January 2009?"
