Thread: New Hampshire Job Fair Gets 10,000 Applicants

Yesterday the town of Manchester in New Hampshire held a job fair, and more than 10,000 people showed up. The applicants were everything from college students to unemployed executives.

New Hampshire's unemployment rate was only 5.3% in February, 2008. The national unemployment rate in February was 8.1%.

The true national unemployment rate in March, as reported by the Department of Labor, was 15.6%. This figure includes the official rate of 8.5% plus the people who don't qualify to be counted. These are the folks who were forced to work part time or were too discouraged to even look for work.

Somebody tell me again why we need to give amnesty to illegals.

Our unemployment rate for my area is 12.4%.......we certainly don't need more people.....we need jobs. That's 12.4% for the government count.....definately not the real count.

How dare these politcal and corporate elites and illegals advocates try to push through Amnesty and try to make the American people pay for them! Insane.

About all the unemployed legal citizens in our country, I pray for them and their familes all the time. It is a tragedy that was created by the same greed and corruption we see in Obama's Communist Washington. It is beyond disgusting and moves into the catogory of evil.

I guess they understand what many Americans have been going through for twenty years.

America should not have given amnesty in 1986.

Exactly. Nothing about people re-entering the work force who lost too much of their retirement, young people entering the work force, moms or dads who took time off to care for kids and comming back in.....the list is endless.
