    (Natural News) It used to be that cross-dressers and transvestites in America were hardly ever seen or heard about. Gay couples kept it pretty much to themselves, and occasionally they would grab the spotlight on television, like the odd couple (though they weren’t flamboyant or openly gay). Also known as POPs, these chemically-related compounds accumulate in the food chain and in the fatty tissue of animals, showing up in meat, dairy products, fish, and shellfish. POPs are highly toxic and are documented to cause developmental problems and interfere with hormones. Dioxins fall under this deadly umbrella, and even the World Health Organization has documented all of this, though they won’t utter a word about the Ohio train-wreck-chemical-burn atrocity that just occurred.
    Dioxins (polychlorinated dibenzo-p-dioxins) are part of the “dirty dozen” of chemical pollutants and POPs, along with aldrin, chlordane, DDT, dieldrin, endrin, heptachlor, hexachlorobenzen, mirex, polychlorinated biphenyls, polychlorinated dibenzofurans, and toxaphen.
    Dioxins can invade the food supply from multiple sources, including bleached paper, herbicides, pesticides, hospital waste, and chemical spills and burns, like the one in East Palestine, Ohio. A developing fetus is most sensitive to dioxin exposure.
    Once these hormone disruptors enter the body, they can be stored for the long term in fatty tissue, with a half-life in the body of up to 11 years. The higher the animal is in the food chain, the HIGHER the concentration of these chemicals. Let that sink in for a minute.
    The entire “gender fluid” movement and phenomenon is not so confusing once one realizes all the chemicals that are screwing up kids’ hormones, even more so today than during the fast food craze of the 1970s and 1980s. Now, pharma shills push pesticides and GMOs as if they are healthy for kids and the environment, and they even publish books about it (and brag about it on pharma-huckster websites), like super-toxic atrazine.
    Today’s youth are experiencing massive overdoses of estrogen (or testosterone), and then the pendulum swings the wrong way and they experience gender dysphoria, aided and abetted by warped, twisted, and perverted social media and Leftist-liberal school systems. It’s not just the frogs and fish that are being turned gay by chemicals. That brings us to the “soy boy” nation.

    (Natural News) Wakame seaweed (Undaria pinnatifida) is a staple in the Japanese diet, often served alone as a side dish or mixed in soups and stews. However, a compound in this seaweed has been discovered to exhibit cancer-fighting properties.
    An April 2020 study published in Marine Drugs elaborated on this compound called fucoidan, which wakame is a well-known source of. Aside from wakame, the study mentioned that other marine invertebrates such as the Japanese sea cucumber (Apostichopus japonicus) and the tubular sea cucumber (Holothuria tubulosa) are also sources of fucoidan.
    The study authors from three universities in Chile found that fucoidan prevents metastasis – the spread of cancer cells from a tumor site to other parts of the body – by binding to the receptors outside of these cells. With fucoidan binding to the cancer cell receptors, their possibility of breaking away from the primary tumor and settling in a different part of the body decreases.
    They also found that fucoidan from wakame inhibit hypoxia – blood oxygen levels that are lower than normal – in the area surrounding a tumor. Insufficient blood oxygen levels can promote the spread of cancer cells in the body.
    Moreover, the researchers also noted how fucoidan prevented cancer cells from becoming resistant to certain drugs and even boosted the effects of certain anti-cancer medications, citing two examples.
    First, fucoidan from U. pinnatifida improved the effect of the anti-cancer drug tamoxifen against mouse models of breast cancer. Second, the compound from brown wakame was able to inhibit the growth of tumors caused by melanoma (a kind of skin cancer) by 85 percent when combined with the anti-melanoma drug lapatinib. Using lapatinib alone inhibited melanoma tumor growth by 60 percent, the study authors pointed out.
    “The molecular characteristics of fucoidans … enable chemical or enzymatic modifications, which make them good candidates for therapeutic use, or … as adjuvants to increase the therapeutic efficiency of known chemotherapeutics,” the study authors concluded. “Studies have demonstrated their potential to improve the efficiency of drug delivery into the tumor and/or to achieve a synergistic effect with other cancer drugs.”
    Another compound in wakame shown to fight obesity

    Including wakame as part of the daily diet not only gives people the positive effects of fucoidan. Another study, this time from 2005, expounded on the role of fucoxanthin – another compund in U. pinnatifida – in helping address obesity.     The July 2005 study published in Biochemical and Biophysical Research Communications expounded on a trial by Japanese researchers. They divided several rats into four groups, feeding prepared wakame powder to one group and different diets to the remaining three. Throughout the experimental period of four weeks, “no significant differences” were observed in the three control groups.
    The group of mice fed with prepared wakame powder that contained fucoxanthin saw a significant decrease in white adipose tissue (WAT). Also called white fat, WAT often accumulates in the abdomen. The other three groups did not report any reduction in their white fat levels.
    Aside from WAT levels, the Japanese study authors found mice fed with U. pinnatifida had higher levels of uncoupling protein 1 (UCP1). Also called thermogenin, UCP1 plays a key role in the body’s natural production of heat that burns off fat. However, UCP1 is usually expressed only in brown adipose tissue or brown fat – which adult humans have little amounts of.
    “Clear signals of UCP1 protein and mRNA were detected” in the abdominal fat of the mice given wakame powder, the researchers wrote. “This result indicates that fucoxanthin up-regulates the expression of UCP1 in WAT, which may contribute to reducing WAT weight.”

    (Natural News) Podcaster Cahlen Lee recently shared tips on how to detoxify dioxins in a video posted on his Brighteon.com channel.
    Lee’s video came following the train disaster and chemical spill that occurred in East Palestine, Ohio. The decision to burn the vinyl chloride that spilled on the ground triggered one of the worst environmental disasters in America as it created dioxins – the most toxic compound mankind has ever created.
    According to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), dioxins are persistent organic pollutants – which means they take a long time to break down once they are in the environment. These highly toxic dioxins also negatively impact the immune system, the endocrine system and the reproductive system. Dioxins can also cause cancer with prolonged exposure.
    The first and most important thing to do is limiting one’s exposure to dioxins, according to Lee.
    “First of all, get out of places where there’s been exposure,” he advised. “Get out of downwind and downstream of all these places. Get really far away – like many hundreds of miles, or probably over thousands of miles – from that place.”
    The main exposure to dioxin from animal products is between 95 and 99 percent, given that it starts through the food chain. Eating animal fats or animal products such as milk and eggs increases dioxin exposure, he said. However, people can still be exposed to dioxins by breathing and getting them through the skin.
    Things that can help you get rid of dioxins

    Lee proceeded to mention four things that can help you to get rid of dioxins. First, indole-3-carbinol found in cruciferous vegetables like broccoli and cabbage has been shown to have an effect on the levels of dioxin in the body. (Related: STUDY: Green vegetables block dioxin uptake.)
    Second, chlorella is scientifically shown to to be successful in dealing with dioxins because of the chlorophyll in it. He cited researchers who gave chlorella to a group of people and then measured their dioxin levels. The researchers discovered that chlorella helped reduce the participants’ dioxin levels by 30 percent.
    Third, Lee proposed glutathione as helpful in detoxing from dioxins given its role as the most prominent antioxidant and one of the main detoxifiers in the human body. Having a lot of this antioxidant will probably aid in removing dioxin and supporting the immune system.
    Fourth, he mentioned the role of activated charcoal in removing dioxins and other poisons from the body. Lee explained: “If you are consuming dioxins, then you may be able to bind them before they get absorbed by the body using activated charcoal.”
    Lee also mentioned other substances that can help address dioxins in the body. These include catechins from unfermented green tea, iodine, vitamin E, carotenoids and virgin camel urine.
    According to Lee, people who fear ingesting dioxins may drive them to consider veganism. However, he warned that doing so isn’t exactly the healthiest decision.
    “[While] I do think it is important … it’s just not the kind of the default mode for most humans right now because almost all of us grew up eating meat. That’s what our bodies are used to,” the podcaster said. “But if you want to be safe from this stuff, for the most part, then don’t eat animal products, Don’t eat anything that has animal fat.”

    (Natural News) Processed seed and vegetable oils – such as soy, canola, sunflower, corn, peanut, grapeseed and safflower – are ubiquitous in the American diet. These oils have also been linked to various health issues, with a growing body of research backing it up.
    Ophthalmologist Dr. Chris Knobbe expounded on the dangers of these oils in a presentation he delivered at the Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel in Colorado. According to Knobbe, the founder of the nonprofit Cure AMD Foundation, the proliferation of seed and vegetable oils in Western diets is nothing short of a “global human experiment … without informed consent.”
    First, he cited that the high consumption of omega-6 fatty acid, a type of polyunsaturated fatty acid (PUFA), can negate the positive effect of the healthier omega-3 fatty acids. The latter can be found in fatty fish, walnuts and chia seeds. Meanwhile, seed oils are abundant sources of omega-6.
    A review published in Prostaglandins, Leukotrienes & Essential Fatty Acids noted that a diet high in omega-6 “inhibits the anti-inflammatory and inflammation-resolving effect of the omega-3 fatty acids.” Knobbe’s presentation also touched on inflammation, saying that it is “the body’s healing response” and that “it is the consequence, not the cause, of disease.”
    Second, Knobbe mentioned that the fats in seed and vegetable oils tend to oxidize very easily. This can promote the spread of free radicals, molecules that damage DNA in the body.
    Ultimately, Knobbe argued that the high levels of dietary PUFAs and free radicals from easily-oxidizing oils contribute to chronic diseases such as cancer, cardiovascular diseases, obesity, Alzheimer’s disease and age-related macular degeneration – a disease his organization seeks to eliminate.
    What oils should you use in place of processed oils?

    Avocado oil is one good substitute for processed seed and vegetable oils, and is also perfect for high-heat cooking due to its higher smoking point of 250 F (121 C). While it may be slightly expensive than most oils, one can get the same nutrients and beneficial compounds in the fruit it is extracted from. These nutrients include folate, copper, iron, magnesium, manganese, potassium and vitamins A, B, C, D and E. (Related: You know about the health benefits of olive oil but how about avocado oil?)
    Ghee or clarified butter is another good substitute. This ingredient which has origins in India is both used in traditional Ayurveda therapies and various cuisines in the Indian subcontinent. Aside from having a buttery flavor, it contains a fatty acid called butyric acid that helps in digestion and addresses inflammation.
    But nothing beats olive oil as substitute for highly processed seed and vegetable oils, given the minimal processing involved in its production. Known as the healthiest of oil plants, extra virgin olive oil (EVOO) is the gold standard among all olive oils as it undergoes the least processing. “EVOO is especially beneficial when it’s not cooked, but even under cooking it has a very high percentage of monosaturated fatty acids,” said professor Francisco Barba of the University of Valencia in Spain.

    Hasselback Garlic Potatoes w/ Bacon & Cheese Recipe!
    For many people, Hasselback style potatoes are nothing new.
    Make some slices in a potato, bake, and it magically fans out into an impressive looking potato with LOTS of character indeed, making for a brilliant addition to any meal!
    Ingredients
    16 ounces potatoes
    3 to 5 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
    4 tablespoons butter, melted
    2 tablespoons olive oil
    salt and fresh black pepper
    Fresh chives (diced)
    Bacon (cut into large chunks)
    Shredded Cheese of your choice- 1-cup
    Sour Cream, recipe follows**
    Directions
    Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
    Using a wooden spoon as a cradle, place each potato in the spoon and make several parallel slits into each potato top making sure not to slice completely through.
    Place 3 garlic slices between slits at the crown of each potato. Toss in a medium bowl with butter and olive oil.
    Place on a baking sheet lined with tin foil and sprinkle generously with salt and pepper.
    When the potatoes begin to “fan out” it’s time to make the magic happen.Carefully slip a hunk of bacon into each slit of the potato like so and continue to cook
    Once the potatoes and bacon are fully cooked (use a knife poke test), coat the potatoes with heaping helping of shredded cheese. .
    Bake until tops are crispy and potatoes are cooked through, about 1 hour. Transfer to a platter and top with Herbed Sour Cream and chives.
    Herbed Sour Cream:
    1/2 cup sour cream
    1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
    1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh parsley leaves
    Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
    Combine ingredients in a small bowl. Season, to taste, and refrigerate until use.

    Mini Meat Loaves

    Ingredients:
    2 pounds of ground beef
    1 cup of breadcrumbs
    3 tablespoons of milk
    3 large eggs (lightly beaten)
    2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
    1 package Lipton beefy onion soup mix
    1 small onion, finely chopped
    1 tablespoon parsley
    1/2 tablespoon dill
    1 teaspoon chili powder
    1 tablespoon garlic powder
    1 teaspoon coarse salt
    1 teaspoon ground black pepper
    1/2 cup ketchup
    1/4 cup brown sugar
    1 1/2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar

    Preparation:
    Preheat the oven to 350°F. Lightly grease the cups of a 12-cup muffin pan. (or other pan)
    In a large bowl combine the meat, breadcrumbs, milk, soup mix, egg, Worcestershire sauce, onion, chili powder, dill, parsley and garlic.
    Add salt and pepper and mix with your hands until combined.
    Divide the meat mixture among the 12 muffin cups, pressing the meat firmly into the pan.
    Place the muffin pan on a baking sheet and bake for 20 to 25 minutes, until the meat is almost cooked through—the "loaves" will be firm when pressed lightly in the center but not set.
    While the meat loaves are baking, whisk together the ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, and apple cider vinegar.
    After baking for 20 to 25 minutes, remove the pan from the oven.
    Generously brush the tops of the loaves with the glaze, and return the pan to the oven.
    Bake for 10 - 15 additional minutes, or until the glaze has thickened and the meat is completely cooked through, 30 to 40 minutes total.
    Run a butter knife around the edges of the muffin cups and pop out the meat loaves, place on paper towel or draining rack to get rid of any excess grease.
    Serve hot.

    Slowcooker Chicken and Dumplings
    4 boneless skinless chicken breast cut in 1 inch cubes
    1 can chicken broth
    2 small cans cream of chicken soup
    1 cup milk
    2 tsp garlic powder
    1 tsp salt
    1/2 tsp pepper
    1 lb sliced carrots
    4 ribs sliced celery
    1 medium onion diced
    1/2 bag frozen peas
    8 strips bacon, cooked and crumbled
    1 can biscuit dough
    In the crockpot, mix together the sauce of chicken broth, both cans cream of chicken soup, milk, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
    Add in the chicken carrots, celery and onion and fold them into the sauce mixture. Cook on low for 6 hours.
    Add in the bacon and peas, stir together.
    Cut up the uncooked biscuits in quarters and put on top of the mixture. Cooking for another hour on high or until done.
