O.C. hybrid auto company hiring up to 100

Fisker Automotive, the Irvine developer of a $90,000 plug-in electric hybrid car, is kicking into high gear and will be doubling its local staff, adding up to 100 workers, says CEO Henrik Fisker.

“We are growing at an incredible pace," he said. "“We expect to hire 75 to 100 people over the next six to eight months, mostly on the engineering side.â€
