First, we apologize, yes we're sorry but we simply must focus once again on…ObamaCare…as we summarize the latest liberal silliness plus the serious evidence - the mounting evidence - that the law will be a horribly destructive force.

So, first the silliness. In a desperate attempt to get attention - like a needy, naughty child acting out - MSNBC show host Melissa Harris-Perry says the use of the term ObamaCare is…wait for it…racist, or something. On her weekend show the ultra-lib, progressive provocateur claimed that a bunch of bigoted, contemptible wealthy white men coined the term ObamaCare to demean the African-American President.

On another weekend show, one of the chief architects of ObamaCare - yes, I said, OBAMACARE - this fellow Zeke Emanuel once again proved he is one of the worst possible people to be out there defending the law. Trying to say President Obama didn't lie when he claimed you could keep your doctor, Emanuel glibly said, well, if you want to pay a higher premium, you can keep your doctor. A lot of ObamaCare policies, as we know, exclude a lot of doctors, and hospitals.

Speaking of docs not part of the new insurance plans, in California - one of the bluest states, with an often celebrated ObamaCare marketplace - in the Golden State, a whopping 70% of doctors are essentially boycotting ObamaCare, refusing to participate in the health insurance exchange. Other reports say that some of America's leading hospitals - including two world-renowned cancer centers - will not be accessible to many ObamaCare enrollees.

Other bad news for ObamaCare and its cheerleaders: the much-needed Millennials - the healthy young people whose insurance premiums are required to subsidize the unhealthy older people - those Millennials aren't too keen on signing up and pitching in. In fact, according to the Harvard Public Opinion Project, less than a quarter of that vital demo, ages 18-29, say they will definitely or probably enroll.

To try to reach those younger folks and persuade them to sign up, pro-ObamaCare advocates and organizations are spending all sorts of money - tax money? - on social media advertising. Facebook is flooded with smiley-face, happy-talk, unicorn-cute messages touting the "benefits and successes" of O-care.

Meantime, some of the more traditional media - the mainstream media - dare we say The New York Times? - these reluctant mainstreamers are actually admitting that there's no such thing as a free lunch, much less free healthcare, or even less expensive health insurance, or lower deductibles, or expanded coverage, or… Gee, could Obama have over-sold, over-promised, overlooked facts?

Could the ObamaCare train wreck be a lingering, long-term problem for the White House? Well, not if you believe the chief resident of the executive mansion. Obama telling one of his biggest media supporters, Chris Mathews, that once the website is fixed, and the policy bugs are worked out, all will be well. The plan just hasn't delivered "on time". That "additional controls" were needed.

If only there were more "controls" - typical of Team Obama that believes they can engineer, can re-set and re-program human behavior to fit their utopian model. All we need is better management, more "controls" - it's never a failure of their plan, never a problem with their policy - always a shortage of controls, or a need to message better or market more.
Oh, those enlightened progressives, the intellectual planners with advanced degrees and good intentions and visionary outlooks - they can fundamentally transform society, can rewire human nature.

Well, hasn't worked so well with ObamaCare, has it? And now, despite the massive promotional efforts underway, brand new polling from Rasmussen finds that strong negative opinions of the healthcare law have risen to their highest level yet - 47% of those Rasmussen recently polled have a very unfavorable view of ObamaCare. It appears unlikely that negative trend can be reversed any time soon, even with "additional controls".
