Obama Announces His Plan to Switch Off America’s Electricity and Economy

One thing we can count on is that the anti-American subversive in the White House has an endless supply of lies and schemes to manipulate America into extinction. More proof of that came of Saturday as the pathological “president” hinted at the nature of his new economy-killing regulations limiting the existence of coal-fueled power plants. He bizarrely portrayed removing our capacity to create energy as a benefit to Americans.
He plans to unveil the new regulations on Monday, but was just too excited, being so close to landing such a devastating blow on his American adversaries, he just couldn’t contain himself. He had to tell somebody, so why not rub our noses in it.
He’s packaging and promoting the constrictive EPA regulations as reducing air pollution, improving health and as spurring a clean energy economy that can be “an engine of growth.”
Put in perspective, he’s probably right in a couple of respects. Gutting America’s manufacturing, industrial and energy capabilities will reduce air pollution. The trade off in the stress involved in a national collapse might have some negative impacts on our health though, as will the associated inabilities to feed and shelter our families.
As for economic growth, when you take the nation down to the bottom, the only way it can go is up. There may be growth; he’s just changing the metrics.
The new EPA rules will require thousands of U.S. power plants to reduce carbon emissions, with coal-fired plants hit especially hard.
Obama’s customary allies in our demise, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, haven’t gone along with this plan, as unlike amnesty, it’s not just the American public which will be hurt. They’ll be hammered as well.
They released a report warning of higher electricity rates, a loss of jobs and negative effects on economic growth. Karen Harbert of the Chamber’s Institute for 21^st Century Energy said, “Americans deserve to have an accurate picture of the costs and benefits,” and pointed out that any minor reductions in carbon emissions would be nothing when compared to global levels.
They are also still ignoring an important point in labeling Co2 as a pollutant. It is no more of a pollutant than oxygen.
Fighting back, Mike Enzi (R-WY), said in the GOP weekly radio address that the Obama administration has “set out to kill coal and its 800,000 jobs.” If it succeeds, he warned, “we’ll all be paying a lot more money for electricity — if we can get it.”
Obama dismissed his critics as alarmists saying in his Saturday radio speech, “They warned that doing something about the smog choking our cities, and acid rain poisoning our lakes, would kill business. It didn’t,” he said in his weekly radio speech. “Our air got cleaner, acid rain was cut dramatically, and our economy kept growing.”
Obama always needs a human prop to complete the sales pitch, and today he chose the Children’s National Medical Center, where kids are treated for asthma and other breathing problems, none of which, in spite of what Obama says, are related to carbon dioxide.
He knows that he can corrupt the imagery and people won’t notice.
“In America, we don’t have to choose between the health of our economy and the health of our children,” he said Saturday, adding that technology is making it possible to improve both the environment and the economy.
More distortion; this is not about the health of our children, but it definitely is a choice about the health of our economy. We can look around the globe at a variety of nations which have limited capacity for energy production and they have largely anemic economies and low standards of living. That is our future under this suicidal idiocy that the subversive dictator in the White House has decreed.
Obama is intent on the destruction of America and our capacity to produce energy is a key target. He and the terrorist organization that is the EPA must be stopped.
The world is laughing at us, shaking their heads and wondering how we can be so foolish. Many Americans are wondering the same thing, but we’re not laughing.
