BETHESDA, Md. (Weasle Zippers) — President Barack Obama is playing golf at a private club in Maryland with the hosts of ESPN’s “Pardon the Interruption.”
The White House says ESPN’s Tony Kornheiser and Michael Wilbon joined Obama on the president’s first visit to Congressional Country Club in Bethesda.
A White House aide completed the foursome.
The club’s website says it began 90 years ago as a place for members of Congress to meet socially with businessmen. The club also boasts a history of U.S. presidents being members or visitors. Presidents Calvin Coolidge, Howard Taft, Herbert Hoover, Woodrow Wilson and Warren Harding were lifetime members.
Wilbon also was a member of Obama’s golf party when the president played two weeks ago at a different private club in Maryland
