October '09 Ratings: Fox News Unchallenged at the Top

Fox News won every major ratings category in October, especially with its dominant prime time line-up.

In total day, FNC averaged 1.23M total viewers and 337k in the demo. In prime time, the averages are 2.59M and 692k, respectively, with no one else coming close.


The Huffington Post notes that the network had the top 11 programs in the A25-54 demo and the top 13 programs in total viewers. Bill O'Reilly was number one with 3.39M total viewers (875k in the demo), followed by "Glenn Beck" and "Hannity."

As we've mentioned in the past, some of FNC's daytime programs, including "Happening Now," "Live Desk," and "Fox & Friends," outdraw all primetime programs on the other networks.

Glenn Beck's program is up roughly 64% in total viewers and 188% in the demo compared to the same time slot last October. Beck joined FNC in January.

The Swamp also reports that "Beck had his best month of the year," and that "FOX viewership is up 9 percent and 14 percent among adults since the feud with the White House started."

The more that they want to claim that they are not a news network, and that they are not to be listened to, the more that viewership for FOX grows. The White House is trying to say, don't look at FOX, don't watch those stories about ACORN, Van Jones, SEIU, government takeovers. That is not real news. Just watch the liberal, mainstream media, sold out to the White House and to Mr. Obama. We want to control the stories and the news that you see.

The people are watching closely now, and with the threats from the White House and the Dept. of Homeland Security to control the internet and talk radio, shouldn't the American people be getting another view.

People are waking up and telling their friends to watch fox for the facts!! That is why its so hot right now People are sick of being lied to!!! Not that fox is perfect they spin it too, but its is way more rare and it usually involves a show's guest.
