An open letter to John Boehner and the GOP

Dear Speaker of the House Boehner:

Pull the plug on ObamaCare! Pull the plug on taxpayer funding of abortion! Pull the plug on Dodd-Frank! Pull the plug on NPR! Pull the plug on PBS! Pull the plug on the National Endowment of the Arts (NEA)! Pull the plug on the EPA! Drill, baby drill, and protect our sovereignty!

There appears to be two sets of rules within the Federal government, one for the Progressives, in which the ends justify the means, and one for those of character, in which protocol is used as a diplomatic guideline, not wielded as a weapon. In the political exchange within the Federal government, the Progressives have fired lethal legislative ammunition while the GOP is returning fire with beanbag bills of Continuing Resolutions.

Barack Obama and the Democrats revealed their disdain for bi-partisanship when you (and, by proxy, the taxpayers) were frozen out of the ‘legislative’ process as the sausage of ObamaCare was stuffed with legislative and fiscal payoffs behind closed doors. That was not representative government! When President Obama proclaimed ‘I won,’ he revealed his sophomoric demeanor and signaled his intent of imposing ‘one-party rule,’ only slightly shy of a full-fledged dictatorship.

Last year’s ruthless lawlessness, with the political bribery within the Democratic Party at the expense of the taxpayers and our Constitution, in ramming through ObamaCare with the $105 Billion concealed from members of Congress and the American taxpayer within it, must be defunded NOW! You have the opportunity and the responsibility to deliver a fiscally responsible budget, including the defunding of ObamaCare, rescuing the $105 Billion theft from the taxpayers, and the alphabet-soup of agencies that need to be weaned from suckling upon the taxpayer, especially since the Democrats were unwilling to pass a budget under their watch!

The term ‘Continuing Resolution’ is both aggravating and an oxymoron
The term ‘Continuing Resolution’ is both aggravating and an oxymoron because it continues the insanity from which we expected to be spared following November 2nd, and because there has been no actual resolution. The GOP gains at both the Federal and state levels of government following the mid-term election were a mandate to reverse the Democrats’ thuggery. As we celebrate ‘March Madness,’ and we need to adopt a shot clock for this legislation so that the opposing team can’t run out the clock and the treasury.

Billionaire Sam Zell is on record for stating the obvious; our economy and employment realities are being held hostage to the uncertainties of ObamaCare and Dodd-Frank. Many of those who supported the Obama candidacy have jumped ship, realizing just how dangerous this regime is to their businesses and the welfare of our country.

Based upon the vote of Tuesday, you have three weeks in which to devise a strategy to take advantage of the leverage that is eroding with each ‘Continuing Resolution.’ Be creative and be bold! Dare the Democrats to shut down the government. You have our mandate and the TEA Party, and we, the American taxpayers, have your back!
