Police seek ID of fatal hit-and-run victim.

Prince George's County Police have released a composite sketch of a woman who was killed in a hit-and-run accident in Fort Washington, and are asking the public for information that can help identify her.

The body was found by a passing motorist alongside Indian Head Highway near Old Fort Road on Jan. 3.

The extensive trauma to her body was consistent with a pedestrian collision, police said.

The woman's identity remains unknown. She is described as a black female, about 50 years old, 5-feet-5 and 120 pounds. She was wearing a light blue jacket, blue jeans and black shoes.
