I'm in. Let me know where I can sign up.

I visited some friends last night who I do not talk to on any regular basis. After a few glasses of wine, the immigration issue popped up -- turns out they are as passionate and as informed as I am, yet we all just sit there and talk about ....no action.

People, many people are behind this issue -- it's all about galvanizing that support and getting the word out.

Let me be very clear , This was brought up on another forum this morning

This idea isn't to unite all the orgs into one big unit

Its a "common cause" that all groups could push as part of their agenda without giving up any of their own agendas and causes

It would seek to unite our groups without any one "controlling" them

They would just need to pick one to administer this thing and thats why I
submitted the idea of a $2 donation to the legal fund and a $2 donation
to whoever administers the deal , of course some of us would give more

This was also brought up in another forum between
2 very adamant posters , one a Romney supporter and one a Ron Paul supporter

They fought like cats and dogs for weeks , but they are both 100%
    agreed on this deal

Its time we realize that we all ate our lunch in this election and now its
time to get back to something we all know about

Stopping illegal immigration and finding ways to fight it

    Pat

To that I don't have the answers , Part of the reasoning for
developing a large legal fund would be to explore what we
could do , and the highest possible profile legal action we
    could take ,
Part of our problem right now is that the raza are lawyered up
    to the max

We have judicial watch but we need more , we need to
really go after them nationally , We need to open a case
that will go to the supreme court ,

All of this is still pure speculation , It is questions and answers time
First and foremost is "Is it feasible "

His name is Kris Kobach. I actually contacted him and Darryl Metcalfe from State Legislators for Legal Immigration about this very subject almost a year ago but never heard any reply. BUT...things have changed tremendously since then with more and more cities and states fighting back and recent successes in legal battles, so maybe now they would be willing to take further action against the government. I had wondered if individual citizens could unite in a class-action lawsuit against DHS or whether this should be pursued on the state level, which could prove more difficult. Perhaps Darryl Metcalfe would now be willing to ask his member states to consider this action. What do y'all think?

Thanks for keeping this idea in the forefront, usanevada!

I will be talking to Chris Simcox tonight and see what he says , I'm waiting on William to weigh in

Without the help of the big guns and their input this will go nowhere

If we do get some movement then we all need to get involved ,

I've been monitoring several forums this morning where I posted this
and the responses are overwhelmingly in favor

I've had some tell me that after the gloom of the last few weeks with Caldron coming here , the elections and everything else , they read this
idea and actually felt excited again , they felt we
can do something and move forward

I think it sounds like a great idea, but personally, I'd like to know if it's not just pie-in-the-sky that sounds good. Isn't there a way to get some input first from someone with legal expertise?

I think if those in the know about the legal aspect of it say it's feasible, the money part won't be a problem. Millions and millions of us are sick and tired of this invasion and it's consequences to us.

IMHO, it wouldn't be good to raise a bunch of money by saying you're going to do some certain thing and then find out it's not feasible. Are we gonna give all the money back to the millions of people who contributed their $2.00 or whatever amount?
