Thread: Presents for Christmas!

I've started my Christmas shopping. Do you know just how hard it is to find items made in the USA?

I'm trying really hard to buy only American made, but when the grandkids want certain things.....you can't find it made anywhere but China!

I've been buying online, many places tell where it's made.

My daughter-in-law wanted and needed a large wall clock for her home. I was online for hours trying to find a resonable priced clock....the only one I found was a small outdoor clock, made in Vermont.

I finally found a large one with the clock works made here, and the rest of the clock made in China....who knows who assembled it!?

If anyone wants to know some good sites with good sale prices, that also say if it's made in the USA, let me know and I'll list them.

I hear ya moosetracks. I went to Walmart today. I buy MADE IN AMERICA catfood, litter and cat vitamins there. I was so upset by the swarm of illegals ... I walked out with only 1 of my 2 bags.



I realized it 3 hours later, went back and they had it safely waiting for me at the service desk.

This Walmart had All American Workers ... but over half maybe more of the shoppers were illegal aliens. And I thought to myself, these shoppers don't care where the stuff is made. They probably think it's cool to be made in China ... you know ... "exotic".

I've been to all those sites, and cannot find what the kids want, that would be made in the USA.

Judy, I ran into a German lady, who married an American...we struck up a conversation and I said I was sick of seeing all things made in China and other countries.....she said, "Who cares!" "They are cheap."!!!

If all immigrants coming here have this feeling, have no allegiance to America and don't care about our jobs and Country...we are in deeper trouble than I thought.

Right now, if you can't find made in USA, it comes down to what Country one wants to buy from!

I tell my family, when you buy Chinese made, the money goes to upgrade their army....guess the young generation, new immigrants...just don't care whether America is a vibrant Country or not.
