As most Americans have probably noticed by now, Donald Trump has a lot of strong opinions.

The TV host/ real estate tycoon/ interminable bombast generator has done scores of media interviews throughout his years in the spotlight, building – along with something in the ballpark of 95 percent national name recognition -- a Google-ready quote trove for journalists and political opponents to mine.

News outlets, including First Read, have already noted Trump’s potentially problematic statements about his onetime support for universal health care, his praise for the stimulus plan, and his flip-flop on abortion.

Digging through those transcripts, we also found some instances of Trump opining on famous folks, from a former president of the United States to, um, K-Fed.

Here’s a few of them.

On Paris Hilton:
“Paris said she wants to build a brand just like Donald Trump and I don't know if she's done it the same way but she is smart like a fox … I also happen to think that I believe she's very beautiful. A lot of people don't agree with me, you know. Some people say ‘Oh, she's really not.’ I happen to think she's very beautiful.â€

Well, at least it's better than - and I'm paraphrasing here-

"We live in the greatest nation on earth. Now join me while I change everything about it"

Calling Buchanan a racist lumps Trump right in there with all the other liberals and RINOs that just don't get it.

That old comment from 1999 will probably come back to bit him.

I didn't know much about Trump until this week.
So far I'm not real impressed.

'No-vote' flap for the Donald

Donald Trump skipped voting in New York City primary elections for more than two decades, the city Board of Elections says.

The board says the possible presidential candidate voted in a primary election in 1989, when Rudy Giuliani beat Ronald Lauder, and then didn't vote in another primary for 21 years. Trump also skipped the 2002 general election, the board says.

But Trump insisted to NY1, which first reported the story, that he's voted in every general election.

He also threatened the reporter who broke the story: "You're going to pay a big price because you're wrong."

Bloomberg: Stop the birther talk

Washington (CNN) - Republicans will suffer electorally if they continue to fan the flames of the so-called "birther" debate instead of focusing on the economy, New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg said Sunday.

"I think the Republicans are making a terrible mistake in making this a big issue," Bloomberg, an independent, said on "Fox News Sunday." "We have the deficit. We have the economy. Those are the things that the public cares about."

"If the Republican Party doesn't start addressing that, they will lose and they deserve to," he added.

Even though he called Donald Trump, who has become a champion of the birther movement, a "friend" and "New York icon," Bloomberg wouldn't say whether or not he takes Trump's presidential flirtations seriously.

"Look, anybody can run for president if you're 35 and an American citizen and born here," Bloomberg said, before adding that President Barack Obama was born in the United States too.
