Rep. Dana Rohrabacher says George W. Bush 'destroyed' GOP

A senior House Republican says former president George W. Bush "destroyed" the GOP.

In a posting on his Twitter account, Rep. Dana Rohrabacher of California also says Bush is "not a class act." Rohrabacher, an 11-term lawmaker representing parts of Orange County, was responding to a tweet from conservative Mark R. Matthews, a law professor.

Matthews had said Bush is a "class act" for not criticizing President Obama since he has left office.

Among other issues, Rohrabacher has complained that Bush commuted the sentences of two Border Patrol agents who were convicted of shooting a Mexican drug dealer. Rohrabacher's tweet was reported by The Hill, a newspaper that covers Congress.

Bush's memoir, Decision Points, is on bookshelves this week. The former president has said he believes that Obama "deserves my silence." When asked in an interview with USA TODAY's Judy Keen if he's tempted to defend himself, Bush said: "No, because once you're in, you're in, and I don't want to be in. ... Politics is a chapter in my life. It wasn't my whole life."

Well Bush did, and does, support amnesty for millions of illegal aliens

like McCain, Palin, etc.
