A man was arrested Monday after Collier County sheriff's deputies say he was captured on video breaking into another man’s apartment in East Naples earlier this month.
Michael Saldana, 8675 Wheat Lane, #107, East Naples, was charged with burglary and grand theft.
Reports say Ryan Irwin told deputies that someone broke into his apartment at 8675 Wheat Lane #104 on March 10. Irwin said he had set up a computer Web camera and made sure his doors and window were locked before heading out to work that morning.
When he returned home he discovered a silver tin containing $150 cash and his Webcam were missing.
Investigators reviewed the Webcam video, which they said showed Saldana and an unidentified man entering Irwin’s apartment and going through his belongings. One of the men spots the Webcam with the light on and pulls it out of the computer.
A search of Saldana’s apartment turned up a white shirt that matched the white shirt investigators say he wore in the Webcam video.
