Nearly two dozen CIA agents have been convicted for their alleged involvement in the kidnapping and rendition of Muslim cleric Abu Omar. Italian courts have convicted 23 Americans for abducting an Egyptian cleric and torturing him as part of an interrogation. This is the first trial in the extraordinary renditions program and many wonder if this will urge the Obama administration to prosecute and investigate other members of the program too.
