The Liberty Restoration Project blog has posted an advisory released last November by the United States Army Reserve. “The United States Army Reserve Command is publishing this Force Protection Advisory to advise all Army Reserve personnel of the planned protests at all Federal Reserve Banks and office locations within the United States on 22 November 2008,â€

According to the Army Reserve, the folks gathered and exercising the First Amendment in response to the Federal Reserve’s loan sharking operation are essentially terrorists.
Has the government lost their minds? Are Americans taking back their country and government?

Truthfully, nothing surprises me at this point in time.

However, that being said, I take comfort in the fact that it is not just patriotic Americans excercising our rights who are being kept tabs upon and being viewed as potential threats.

As I've said before, not so long ago, while looking for something else, I happened across a forum frequented by the various radicals, pro-illegals, etc.........just wish I could remember which one it was or find the damned piece of paper I wrote it down on......and these people were bitching about how they are now overtly being watched and documented by various law enforcement agencies.

There was also a great deal of anger over the possibility of military being used to deal with them, as well as concern that THEY are the ones.....along with "immigrants"......who are facing rounding up for placement in the FEMA camps.

So, while this side of the issues might be on the radar, so to speak, the other side of the issues are not skipping away scot free either.

The only unfortunate thing is that WE are being labeled as "problems" when all we're trying to do is restore our country to what it should be, not completely destroy it like the others are.

    " folks "

Thats an interesting word. Its a word that Obama uses a lot. I believe I know how they really feel about us "folks". And it doesn't give me a warm fuzzy feeling.

    My reply:

"folk" is a word I have heard used frequently by members of the Afro-American Community, as in "black folk", "white folk", etc. Another who uses it is Tavis Smiley, whose programs are broadcast both on NPR and PBS. I guess its use is to indicate that, no matter how many years of expensive private schooling you may have (Obama), what position of public prominence you may have risen to (Smiley), or how many millions of dollars you may have earned, you and everyone else remain "just plain folks". Seriously, I think it may be just a common Afro-American expression; however, I'm sure that those who read this will correct me if I am wrong.

Sorry, and while you might accuse me of not facing reality, these conspiracy theories are going a little bit nuts. FEMA is setting up concentration camps with ovens and the military is ready to arrest anyone that says "I don't agree with that?"
Undoubtedly, things so nuts should be taken with a shipload of salt, but not relying on quotes from another article by someone who also offers no proof for their allegations.
There was a clear line once between journalism and opinion, but that has become very blurred these days.

Years ago I laughed at the conspiracy theories but:

    HR 645 FEMA camps

    http://thomas.loc.gov/cgi-bin/query/z?c111:h645:

Think of all that is proposed in the 111 Congress: gun laws, genetically modified food protection, cap and trade, law of the sea treaty, amnesty, card check..do any of these protect the Citizens? My thoughts are that each one is designed to bring us to our knees..a bankrupt nation..no jobs and therefore no way to sustain our way of life. We would totally depend on the Government and when they abandon us like the Katrina victims..what then?

I would love to be able to refuse to accept federal reserve notes.

It looks like I am not the alone in this.

I wonder how we can help to get this bill passed?

This is bad legislation because it opens up a can of worms giving the Director of Homeland Security broad discretion on the uses for these facilities.

Furthermore, any US citizens housed on military bases for any reason would then be subject to the security and policing measures within such installations during a time of crisis which means that even refugees from a disaster would not be free to come and go as they please and would be held and policed by military troops.

Under no circumstances should US citizens be held on military bases. This is worse that the Japanese internment camps of the 1940's. If the military had to be called on in extreme cases such as a nuclear, biological, or chemical weapons attack, American citizens should be housed in tents and facilities setup near the attack areas NOT on military bases.

There should be no doubt in any American's mind about possible military gulags being created in our nation.

I'm not certain, but I also think that once US Citizens are housed on a military base they could then fall under the jurisdiction of military law instead of US laws with expected protections, checks, and balances.

    (4) to meet other appropriate needs, as determined by the Secretary of Homeland Security.
Read the summary at thomas, and that was the phrase that stuck out to me. (Eyes getting too tired to go read the entire text tonight) but I hope that there have been some stipulations that have put on the use of those facilities. They could easily be used as places to detain illegals to await deportation instead of our overcrowded jails, but I think the idea that Americans will be thrown in there for politically incorrect speech or thought is beyond the pale. This is nothing more than preparedness so we don't end up with another Katrina situation with people taking shelter in the stadium with the roof partially destroyed and malfunctioning toilets, or sitting on a highway waiting for rescue in the hot sun with no water. Good job, Brownie.
