Jon Kyl is currently serving the state of Arizona as a Senator along with John McCain. Taking office in 1995, he has currently serving his third term in the office. He is also the serving minority whip, or the second ranking member of his political party in the Senate. He currently serves on the Subcommittee on Human Right and the Law, the Subcommittee on Immigration, Border Security and Citizenship, the Subcommittee on Health Care, the Subcommittee on Social Security, Pensions, and Family Policy, and the Subcommittee on Taxation, IRS Oversight, and Long-Term Growth (where he is the ranking member).
Even though he will be 70 by the time the 2012 Senate races come around, he is still expected to run given the massive amount of support he has received from his home state. He has yet to make an official announcement.

Richard Green Lugar, commonly referred to as Dick, is a six-term Senator who has been a member of the Senate since 1977. He is currently the senior Republican Senator in this House of Congress. While serving in Congress, he has focused on globally eradicating weapons of mass destruction including nuclear, chemical, and biological weapons. Given he won the election of 2006 with 87 percent of the vote, he is expected to run again in the 2012 Senate elections. The 2006 election cycle brought him no Democratic opponent.
If the control of the Senate should shift back to the Republican Party, Lugar should be declared President pro tempore, who is the second highest ranking politician of the Senate, serving directly under the Vice President.

Olympia Snow is a three-term Senator who serves the great state of Maine. She is currently one of the most popular U.S. Senators, based on both constituent voting percentages and media coverage. Both Time Magazine and Congressional Quarterly have showed her importance to the Republican Party in the Senate, with Time declaring her one of the Ten Best Senators. She serves on 11 committees and subcommittees
Snow currently has a 79 percent approval rating among her constituents. While she has not made an official announcement, she is expected to seek another term in the U.S. Senate.

Roger Frederick Wicker is a first term Senator from Mississippi. He was appointed to the Senate by Mississippi Governor Haley Barbour after Trent Lott retired from the post on December 18, 2007. He officially won the seat in a special election that was held in November, 2008, getting 55 percent of the vote. Lott retired following controversy stirred up during Strom Thurmond's Presidential campaign and became a D.C. based lobbyist.
Since Wicker will not be serving a full term in the Senate due to the nature of his seat, he is expected to run again in 2012, seeking his first full term in the Senate. He has made no official announcement.

Dean Heller took over the former two-term Republican, John Ensign's seat in the senate after he admitted to having an affair with a campaign staffer. John Ensign was going to keep his senate seat and try for reelection but changed his mind and announced on March 7, 2011 that he would be not be seeking reelection and resigning. Governor Brian Sandoval appointed Dean Heller to take over John Ensigns senate seat and he will be serving out the remainder of Ensign's term. Dean Heller announced that he will be running to keep his seat in the senate in 2012.

A first-term Senator who barely won the election in 2006, Robert "Bob" Corker may be holding one of the most hotly contested seats in the Senate come 2012. In 2006, he won by narrow margins, gaining only 50.7 percent of the vote. Corker has been a strong supporter of the Iraq War and expressed doubt during the Economic Recovery Act hearing, claiming that many of the companies the government was trying to save could not be brought back.
He is expected to run again in 2012, even though he has made no official statement. According to media reports, he already has competition, including his rival in 2006, Harold Ford, Jr., and country music star Hank Williams, Jr. Williams has expressed interest in challenging Corker or the Senate seat, and Ford has already begun fundraising for a re-election campaign.

Barring Orrin Hatch retiring or experiencing severe medical issues before the 2012 Senate elections, he is expected to run once again. He has been serving in the Senate since 1977, making 2012 his bid for a seventh term. Hatch is a member of several political committees, including; the U.S Senate Committee on Finance, the Select Committee on Intelligence, the committee on the Judiciary, the Health, Labor, and Pensions Committee, and the Joint committee on Taxation. In addition to being a U.S. Senator, he is also an accomplished musician and author, having published the book Square Peg: confessions of a Citizen Senator.
Hatch is expected to continue his career in the Senate.

John Barrasso is a first term Senator who received his initial seat by appointment due to the death of Craig L. Thomas. He was formally elected in a special election in 2008 to finish out Thomas's term. He is expected to run once again in 2012, or at least has yet to declare that he won't. He received over 70 percent of the vote in the special election. He is currently serving on the Committee on Energy and Natural Resources, the Committee on Environment and Public Works, the Committee on Foreign Relations, and the Committee on Indian Affair, which is is Vice Chairman of.
