Exactly. Worry about the borders, immigration, income taxes, jobs, wages, trade and peace. Pot smokers are the least of our worries.

No one I know today who uses pot is "wasted on pot smoke", so I'm not worried about it.

There's already plenty of negative statistical data coming out of Colorado on it. Remember what Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) said about Obamacare? You have to pass it to see what's in it. Well, the same thing is happening with the legalization of pot. Once more and more states pass it, the more negative statistical data will reveal what a mistake it was. However, by then it will be too late to put the genie back in the bottle. The primary pusher of this issue is greed. If it weren't for the states looking to make money off their piece of the pie, there would be no pie.

Well, all the "dopers" I know are all doing great, work hard, earn well, put all their kids through college, will be retiring soon. Just everyday great Americans.

I think you've made the mistake of believing you're somehow better than someone else because you don't smoke pot and they do, when you aren't. You're just different than they are and you like different things than they do.

You can see right through this scheme by the Democrats can't you? This is all politics for them. You say you want the House and Senate Republicans to become a larger majority yet you support something like this. This is nothing more than a scheme to excite the liberal base in the hopes of bring out more liberal voters in November, especially the younger ones. They think they've hit on the golden ring and maybe they have found away to bring more liberal voters to the voting booth.

Surprised that you support such an effort. Guess your "pot" cause is more important than taking care of the immigration and border security problems we're facing.
