And what a concise well written article by Devvy Kidd and thank you so much minnie for posting it.

There is an old saying many of us were raised on "You are what you eat".

Well now we should add "You are what you consume".

I stopped spending almost 20 months ago ... except for bare essentials and then I never spend it at any one store but spread it around.

I'm from the midwest ... a state that is famous for the F-15 as well as some of the best made shoes and garments ever worn by an American.

During my lifetime these shoe and garment plants were open; employing only American Workers; had health insurance programs; good wages plus incentive bonuses for piece work so that the more you produced over your quota the more you earned. They were so efficient at this highly skilled work that they could talk and laugh while working and never skip a stitch. I'll never forget my tour of these facilities during my work with the State Department of Economic Developmet nor my sadness a few years later when they all closed and relocated to foreign nations. We were also the state with the largest Zenith Plant ... that left too and so many others it still breaks my heart to think about these happy productive proud Americans tossed away like dirt by federal trade policy and all the pond scum supporting that policy.

The aftermath ... 10 to 15 percent unemployment in many of the counties for decades. Plants that had 300 and 400 workers per facility on the market with local economic developers asking for state or federal assistance to try to locate some new company that might employ 20 or 30 over a period of time.

The devastation to the United States of these policies and Free Trade Agreements is unforgivable.

The damage irreversible without a reversal of the policy.

The decline of our nation obvious to anyone who takes the time to look.

I do however disagree with Devvy on one point. Americans didn't do this because they wanted cheap products. Globalists did this to Americans to end our nation. No American wrote their Congressman or President or Political Party and said, "Hey, I've a great idea ... lets destroy our country and ship all our manufacturing facilities, the foundation of our economy and well-being, to Mexico so's I can have me some cheaper shoes".

Nope, Devv. NO AMERICAN did that. NO AMERICAN would.

George Herbert Walker Bush started this Free Trade business with his NAFTA Agenda. Clinton supported it and the US Congress ratified it. Then, things held their own for awhile when the President's Trade Promotion Authority expired in 1994 and then BOOM .... here comes Junior and the Free Trade Agreement Fast Track Trade Promotion Authority was renewed in 2002 and ZOOM .... and "back on the road again" takes on a whole new meaning in the United States with virtually every industry we have on the high-speed roadmap of Presidential Free Trade Authority to end the United States by relocating our industrial base to other nations; bankrupting this nation in the process; and integrating it through illegal immigration and increased legal immigration with the populations and infrastructures of other nations through the SPP/NAU.

Nope. Americans didn't do this to America. Traitors did this to America.

And the American Stock Market is not all American. Foreign buyers purchase stocks in these companies through funds and investment organizations and control a major portion of that stock market. Foreign nationals even run and operate many of the companies on the stock market .. people who have no allegiance to the United States or any emotional or mental connection to the American People.

Nope. Americans didn't this this to America.

But ... Americans will have to be the ones to stop it and save our nation from it.

Judy, American people are the ones who expend the most in whole world, I have family in England, israel, friends in France, and I have traveled a lot .
You know I'm from south America, but the way the kids grow up here , with all the facilities to buy and buy and when you don't want any more through it away because if it's old worth nothing so buy a new one,( I have friends who come to visit, from Brazil, when they look at the garbage here in my building they want to pick up to take home, and they are not poor people), this is proffit for foreign countries. When it was produced here, and there were American jobs and American industries OK the money was kept here.
But it became the envy of other countries because the way Americans spend they want their share and the corrupts polititians find out a way to let them have it, and distribute the American wealth.
Sorry to tell you this, but it's not a complain but I'm just trying to show you what the world think and maybe if I do so some will start to stop buying ,especially froreign stuff, and we will star seeing again Made in U.S.A.

Oh that's true minnie. I don't know what's happen to these people. I think they're bored and they occupy their time with shopping til they drop for something to do. The kids can't get any jobs because the illegals have all their jobs so they hang around and whine to go to the mall or Walmart out of sheer boredom. Then once there ... they decide to buy something usually on a credit card because they don't have the cash or money right now to buy it, haul it home, and once there realize they didn't really want it or need it to begin with ... they just bought it out of boredom for something to do... and pitch it cause they have no room to store it.

We need our jobs and industrial base back for sooooo many socio-economic reasons.

Americans were never like this before because we were so busy with jobs making and doing things. Kids worked starting when they were teen-agers. They wouldn't waste their money every week at Walmart ... they saved their money to buy a CAR and paid cash for it when they were 16 not something that would end up in the trash by Tuesday or COLLEGE.

Our society is going insane. I see signs of it. One of the most disturbing elements of this whole nightmare is the social decline of our people that's tag-lining the economic decline.

Erratic behavior is what you observed in the trash. Irrational spending; erratic behavior; hopelessness; despair; fear; worry; it's all there and shows up in the spending habits ... it's what people do when they're bored and believe there really is no tomorrow.

    A grave psychological condition.

I hope after this crises, with God's help, the people will save this country and then start care for the rights people took for granted , rights that they have to be watching and caring for, because a lot of traitors are prying to steel .
