MURFREESBORO, Tenn. -A Murfreesboro woman is behind bars charged with the commission of an act of terrorism for threatening to blow up the Middle Tennessee Medical Center.

According to a Murfreesboro police incident report, an ER nurse reported that Prunella Wilkerson Boynton drove to the entrance of the emergency room.

The nurse said Boynton was being hostile and disorderly.

At some point, Boynton told nurses, "The black catholic church should take over this hospital and get all of the white people out".

The nurses said Boynton also said, "I'll call my brother, he's a Muslim, to blow up the hospital."

The report states that after Boynton made the comments, she left the hospital quickly.

When Murfreesboro police officers responded Boynton had already left.

She was arrested at the Motel 6 on Chaffin Place.

Police turned the case over to the district attorney's office.

Boynton remains in the Rutherford County Jail on a $20,000 bond.
