Stunning Israeli Video: The Honor Of Wearing A Uniform

The project “Great in Uniform” was set up 10 years ago. The purpose of the project is to integrate young people with disabilities in the IDF, first as volunteers and then as soldiers in every aspect, including the simple soldier’s ID and uniform, as part of their preparation for an independent life and their integration into Israeli society.

This video is only 5 minutes and 36 seconds long, and at the end if you do not shed tears, you are heartless. I send a hearty Hooah to the Israeli Defense Force (IDF) and this “Great in Uniform” project.
What it shows is that the IDF understands the promise of being a victor, not a victim. This is about the realization that everyone can be a contributing member to the security of their nation, and the pride in one’s country and the honor of wearing a uniform conquers any perceived disadvantage.
