MSNBC Host Apologizes for Being an Ass (The Epitome of Redundancy)

MSNBC host Melissa Harris-Perry, has apologized for her indecent comments on the adoption of a black baby into the Romney family. That’s like a judge telling the jury to disregard something a witness or lawyer says after you’ve already heard it. But the apology could be extremely sincere. After all, she is the third MSNBC host with microscopic ratings to make a self embarrassing statement and the first two got canned.

Especially Romney, a man too nice to beat Obama in the election. Mitt Romney and his family have a long history of doing the right thing, while no one is looking and the TV cameras are facing away. Thanks to them at least one black child will not go hungry or without decent clothes and education. One child will never know what it’s like to be unloved and will have a family to cheer him through his victories or comfort him through his defeats.
Harris-Perry led a four person panel that took turns knocking Romney and the Republican party, culmination in the Daily Beast’s Dean Obeidallah saying:
“It really sums up the diversity of the Republican Party and the RNC, where they have the whole convention and they find the one black person.”
Obeidallah can’t really be faulted because he watched the convention in the NBC offices, where they tuned out of the convention every time a black or Hispanic conservative was to speak, including the fiery speech of Mia Love. They were there Dean, you just couldn’t see them because racists refused to broadcast their speeches.
MSNBC has not responded.
