Texas Explosion Conspiracy Widens: Potential Suspect Arrested? Criminal Investigation Launched By Texas Rangers

    (Before It's News)

A paramedic whose best friend was killed in the fertilizer plant explosion in West Texas has been arrested and charged with possession of an explosive device and authorities have said that they will be opening a criminal investigation into the West Texas plant explosion. Citizen web-sleuths have taken to Bryce Reed’s facebook page for hints of trouble. Others are hinting that Bryce Reed is merely another ‘patsy’ to a wider conspiracy. Video reports on the explosion and conspiracy below.

A West paramedic was arrested early Friday morning on a charge of possession of a destructive device.

Bryce Reed, 31, was arrested around 2 a.m. and was booked into McLennan County Jail. The U.S. Marshals have since taken him into custody.

Officials haven’t said whether the arrest was related to the April 17 explosion at West Fertilizer Co. that killed 15, injured about 200 and destroyed hundreds of homes.

Before he was arrested, Bryce Reed had attracted attention by speaking to the media, including both The Dallas Morning News and The Los Angeles Times, about his own experience of responding to the explosion. More below.

Reed served as one of the incident commanders during the explosion at the fertilizer plant.

The Texas Department of Public Safety also announced Friday morning that the Texas Rangers will launch a criminal investigation into the explosion alongside the McLennan County Sheriff.

“This disaster has severely impacted the community of West, and we want to ensure that no stone goes unturned and that all the facts related to this incident are uncovered,” said Director Steven McCraw in a statement.
