BuildingGreen announced today its top 10 green building products of 2007 during an education session at Greenbuild. The winners (listed below) vary widely in terms of function and green attributes. Look for future coverage in the print version of GreenSource magazine.

Collins Pine FreeForm: a new FSC-certified particle board with no added urea-formaldehyde. Produced by Collins Companies, based in Oregon.

Alpen Fiberglass Windows: glazing with low-emissivity Heat Mirror films, low-e coatings on glass, low-iron glass to increase visible light transmittance, among other eco-attributes. The windows will be installed next year at a research station in Antarctica. Produced by Alpen Energy Group in Boulder, Colorado.

180 Walls: a commercial wall covering woven with 100 percent pre-consumer recycled polyester. The self-adhesive backing means no need for paste. Produced by Milliken & Company, based in South Carolina.
