I was the first person of 2008 to donate.
last month they did not reach their one percent goal for the first time in ten months. 25.00 helps because they have wealthy donors who can only contribute extra if regular foks contribute.

What do you mean their one percent goal?

Shouldn't their goal, if we're talking about contributions, be one hundred percent?

I ve donated about equally to both organizations.
Iam not a slacker.
I think most of us can afford 25.00 a month and of all the things required of us in this battle,money is the least of it!
anyway,if you register at Numbersusa.com ( they dont spam )
you will have an action buffet with free faxes to send and updates on important legislation.

January begins a new year and new challenges as we will try to carry through with the great momentum we gained in 2007. NumbersUSA will go on the offensive to pass pro-enforcement legislation to begin reducing the total size of the illegal population of the United States.

The colors on the map glow hotter as the donations heat up in a Congressional District (each of which has about the same population). To the left is a gage for our 1.00% goal. That goal is for 1.00% of all NumbersUSA faxers in a given month to make a donation to raise the minimum level of financial support to maintain NumbersUSA 's current tools and programs.

DUNCAN HUNTER RATED EXCELLENT, AHEAD OF ALL THE OTHERS BY NUMBERS USA, Jan. 5, 2008

HUNTER has 9 EXCELLENTS (the rest all GOOD), compared to the next 6 Excellents (One Poor) of Fred Thompson. Hunter is WAY ahead of he rest of them that are left in the race. Ron Paul earned one 'excellent', several 'poor' and 'bad' ratings.

Although I donate to Numbers once a year and alipac once a month, I do not send faxes (Have my own fax) through numbers or use numbers services, I do get updates from them and respect their part in our fight a great deal.

But alipac is the main site I am involved in on a daily basis and feel they need the majority of my support.

I think alipac has the best interactive forum and definitly the most informed and updated daily news articles, learning tools and the most extensive archives for research, so people can educate themselves on the subject of illegal immigration.

Now a great place to interact on the upcoming elections, and learn more about the canidates and express opinions....how can you beat that!
