Thread: Local crime updates - good info

I found this while poking around on the web today. I don't know if there is another post on it. The man who started the website wanted people to be up-to-date on local crimes to protect themselves. As the victim of a thief last night, I think it's a great idea. The police provide a direct feed of info on local crimes, but only a few states are yet involved:

I like this method of checking for crimes, and how they are color coded. It spares me for having to open a newspaper to get info on crimes. My local paper has a sheriff's report section, but this would suffice more.
