    Tucker Carlson's love affair with "democracy" AKA mob rule!

    In the above video, Tucker Carlson lectures us on “our democracy”, and its “basic rules”. And within this very context, Tucker tells us the most “basic rule” is “the people rule”, and the “big decisions are made by voters in elections.” And if there is any question as to his adamant thinking about big decisions being made by voters, Tucker goes on to confidently instruct us “In a democracy the main decisions are made by citizens casting ballots.”

    Well, on that point Mr. Carlson is absolutely correct! “In a democracy the main decisions are made by citizens casting ballots.”
    But under our “Republican Form of Government”, guaranteed under Article 4, Section 4 of our Constitution, we elect representatives to make the “big decisions”. But those we elect are bound by a rule book which “We the People” ordained and established. And that rule book is called the Constitution of the United States of America, and it grants defined and limited powers, and specific limitations and prohibitions, which bind those we elect when they make those “big decisions”.

    Truth be told, Mr. Carlson’s adamant thinking that “big decisions are made by voters in elections” is the very mob rule nonsense, referendum and initiatives, promoted by socialist Walter E. Kidd, publisher of the Dakota Ruralist in the late 1800s, which declared on its front page: "Socialism in Our Time.”

    Indeed! Carlson’s thinking, that the main decisions are made by citizens casting ballots, is exactly what our founders sought to provided protection against when adopting a “Republican Form of Government” in which important decisions are made by elected representatives who are bound by a written constitution. In fact, our wise founding fathers provided protection against one of the most obvious evils of democracy by apportioning each state’s number of votes in Congress based upon its population size, and also requiring each State to contribute a share of any general tax laid among the States to be proportionately equal to its voting strength in Congress, a protection which works out to be, representation with a proportional financial obligation,a protection which socialists, communists, and our Current Democrat Party Leadership, detests with a passion. And why do they detest the rule of apportionment? It neutralizes the predictable consequences of “democracy” which historically has allowed a nation’s voters to vote themselves “free stuff” from the common treasury, and in so doing, it eventually financially destroys their country. The following quote sums this evil up as follows:

    A democracy is always temporary in nature; it simply cannot exist as a permanent form of government. A democracy will continue to exist up until the time that voters discover that they can vote themselves generous gifts from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates who promise the most benefits from the public treasury, with the result that every democracy will finally collapse due to loose fiscal policy, which is always followed by a dictatorship. The average age of the world's greatest civilizations from the beginning of history has been about 200 years. During those 200 years, these nations always progressed through the following sequence:

    • From bondage to spiritual faith;
    • From spiritual faith to great courage;
    • From courage to liberty;
    • From liberty to abundance;
    • From abundance to selfishness;
    • From selfishness to complacency;
    • From complacency to apathy;
    • From apathy to dependence;
    • From dependence back into bondage.

    Tucker Carlson would do well to rethink his love affair with “democracy”.

    John Adams was absolutely correct when he pointed out that "democracy will envy all, contend with all, endeavor to pull down all; and when by chance it happens to get the upper hand for a short time, it will be revengeful, bloody, and cruel..."
    Witness today the suicidal path our democrat socialist leadership has chosen to take, supported by a Fifth Colum media and Yellow Journalists.
