The Indian embassy in Washington is to issue a formal complaint to the US State Department following the treatment of a leading Indian Diplomat at the hands of the TSA.

This is unacceptable to many Americans. Modesty is not exclusive to India or anywhere else. Diplomats and government officials should experience what children, seniors, many average Americans experience. Criminals and threats to do us harm come from government officials too. They need to set an example of the rules they set over us and submit to them.

My fear is that it is against the Vienna convention, which we signed. It could endanger our people overseas.....However, I don't think that stripping people in glass boxes does anything for security. It is a psychological power play showing us who is boss
