Thread: 2010 Census - I need your input

Can someone tell me how best to answer the 2010 Census form to best accomplish our goal of derailing amnesty and serving the needs of the American people, within the law that is?

It asks for a heck of a lot of information that I do not believe is necessary or even required, and which I also believe is predjudiced against Americans.

Anyone?

Haven't seen it yet, so I won't know the questions until it shows up in the mail.

Sadly, I don't think there is much one can do about the census unless you want to risk a fine or jail. The census has been politicized. It is biased and intrusive.

Even worse, I heard that for the first time ever, the White House is taking control of the completed forms. This is very ominous as they can and will manipulate the data however they please.

I heard on the radio today that if you return the duly completed form, it costs the gov't (us taxpayers) 44 cents per form (USPS price). If you don't complete it properly, it costs us taxpayers $57 for someone to come to your home to try to get the data for the form.

I am not sure whether the govt would really prosecute those who do not return a form. I read an article the other day stating that although the southern states have shown more growth over the last 10 years the census may not reflect that accurately because the census typically receives a lower percentage of responses from southern states than other regions of the country. I have not heard of any mass prosecutions or fines for southerners, or anyone else, in the past.

On another note, I had a census taker come to my door last week, and he gave me my forms to fill out. Yesterday I heard the government was mailing forms. I don't know why my neighborhood was getting them hand-delivered while others get them by mail. Mail would be a lot cheaper. I intend to followup.
