    Gordon Brown to warn US against economic protectionism

    Gordon Brown, the British Prime Minister, is preparing to use a speech to the US Congress in Washington to urge American politicians to avoid retreating to economic protectionism.

    Mr Brown is expected to focus on the economic crisis in his address to both houses of Congress on Wednesday.

    The Prime Minister will urge Congress to "seize the moment" and take the action necessary to help guide the world out of economic crisis.

    He is set to emphasise that the crisis was caused by international problems and requires global solutions.

    He really means please give us your money, don't take care of your
    country, etc,etc.

    We need to keep reminding Mr Obama that he promised to put the the US and the American worker first. So far I don't see much of that happening.

    We are still trying to stop our government from giving the banks all our money(or make believe money) which are the same people that caused this whole mess to begin with.
