Putin’s Boot Prints Proliferating on the World Stage

Vladimir Putin’s takeover in Crimea remains in the forefront of the news. That is, unless commentary about illegal butt-enhancing injections or whinging about media blackouts of FLOTUS and her daughters’ China vacation (er…I mean “official visit to expand Sino-American relations”) takes the spotlight. The Crimean takeover and consequent highlighting of America’s geopolitical limpness under the spineless “leadership” of The Lyin’ King is, to be sure, of critical importance. More so because of Putin’s growing brashness. He’s digging footholds in other, strategic spots on the globe. According to The Hill, Putin is taking aggressive strides toward establishing bases in Venezuela, Cuba and Nicaragua.
Vladimir Putin has not been shy about announcing his goal to reconstruct the Soviet Union’s empire. Russia’s assumption of control of oil-rich Crimea makes the objective less of a goal and more of a conviction. Potential, future targets for Russia’s attention, such as Georgia, Kazakhstan, Belarus and Moldova, are of direct, strategic importance to Russia. What is also vital to Russia, however, in any plan to reclaim her former glory, would be a tactical, geographical presence in places where she currently isn’t. Force isn’t necessary to inject official influence in such locales. Such steps taken by Russia may not be widely reported but they are happening. Right now.
America’s Quarterly reported last week: “Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu announced…that his country is planning to expand its long-standing military presence in Cuba, Venezuela and Nicaragua, possibly bringing the U.S. and Russia’s icy diplomatic standoff into the Western Hemisphere.” Translation: They’re planting the Russian Bear in America’s sandbox. The Quarterly continued: “Shoigu mentioned that Russia would also boost its armed presence in Vietnam, Singapore, the Seychelles and several other countries…‘The talks are under way, and we are close to signing the relevant documents…We need bases for refueling near the equator, and in other places…’”
The Hill reported on Friday that such military meetings had taken place as recently as last week. Splitting his attention with Crimea didn’t slow Putin down one bit. He isn’t interested in using a four-wheeled lawnmower to get where he wants to go. Putin is driving a souped-up muscle car; emissions are not a concern…nor does he care if he’s in the bike lane.
The Hill reported that the activity, while under-reported, was not entirely unnoticed. Even by Congressional Democrats: “They’re on the march,” Sen. Joe Donnelly (D-Ind.) said at a Senate hearing earlier this month. “They’re working the scenes where we can’t work. And they’re doing a pretty good job.” Contrary to Senator Donnelly’s assertion, he’s missing the point; it isn’t that we “can’t work in those scenes” it is that our current leadership won’t.
The Hill’s report added observations by the United States military: “Gen. James Kelly, commander of U.S. Southern Command said there has been a ‘noticeable uptick in Russian power projection and security force personnel’ in Latin America. ‘It has been over three decades since we last saw this type of high-profile Russian military presence…’”
While The Lyin’ King mewls about not showing Russia (or anyone else that is truly a threat to America) military strength, Vladimir Putin is not hampered by such niceties. Putin expands his power. What does the Imperial President do? He telegraphed his intent over a year ago. He was caught on camera and audio, blustering to Dmitri Medvedev that his reelection in November would give him the ‘flexibility’ to decrease America’s missile defenses.
On February 25 the Washington Free Beacon reported: “… Obama will sharply cut ships, aircraft, and troops as part of a major reduction of U.S. military forces that will face even steeper downsizing in 2016…The defense cuts…would reduce U.S. ground forces to their lowest level since World War II at a time when world threats are increasing.” Those cuts follow the draconian surgery already performed on US military forces. Any rational individual would question why The Pretender-in-Chief is so fanatical about getting rid of America’s defenses. Why, when daily assaulted by violent acts from the world’s bad players, “cultures” impervious to the unrealistic, Kumbaya view of the world he remorselessly peddles, is this being done? PC “doublespeak” is deftly used against America but is otherwise ignored.
The Lyin’ King, with typical disregard for truth, claims that Putin’s annexation of Crimea shows that Putin is acting “out of weakness” and the United States conversely, by demonstrating a mounting inability to muster her strength, is “strong.” Such Orwellian claptrap is designed to perpetrate the liberal myth that Soviet domination was never a threat.
Putin isn’t confused by such nonsense. He clearly grasps the difference between weakness and strength. Putin is following the historically-established pattern of Russian dictators. Putin’s Russia is a Russia run by a KGB thug. Russia is ambitious but still fledgling. The Lyin’ King is offering assistance. Putin will take full advantage of the open barn door, courtesy of The Lyin’ King; it can’t last but by the time it closes, the horse may be long gone and regrets, if ever experienced by the regime’s disciples, will come too little and too late.
Regardless of motive, POTUS is not only ceding America’s starring role on the world stage he is deliberately breaking the nation’s legs in order to give Putin a shot at taking the lead.

Mr. Pouty Face Meets Mr. Putin

As a red white and blue American, I never thought in a million years that I would ever be singing the praises of a Russian President. In comparing Manly Man Putin, to whom we Americans got stuck with for four more years as president my appreciation for Putin has blossomed.
It started with the security promised by Putin for the Sochi Olympics. Manly Man Putin issued a warning to all Muslims, but especially to those pesky ones in the Caucuses. Quote, “if there are any terrorist attacks (for the Sochi Olympics), I will annihilate you”. Yeah! Big Cheer! Not only would Putin annihilate the terrorist, but more than likely his or her entire family! I can betcha all Muslims believed Putin’s threat! Unlike Mr. Pouty Face, who only blows lukewarm air.

Ok, I’m counting, 1 pause, 2 longer pause, I really mean it, 3 really long pause. Blah, blah, blah. Pouty has lost every ounce of credibility he had. Though with me, he never had any to lose. When I see his face on TV which is almost daily, I’m running for the remote to turn the channel. Yelling obscenities until I finally get that station turned. The ever present weak-wristed Mr. Pouty Face, aka, King Obama, is continually drawing a crayon line in the sand on various issues. Either on someone, or someplace around the globe. Certainly the patriots of old would be rolling in their respective graves.

If I have learned anything over the last five years of being in Obama’s Kingdom, which is a strange place indeed, it is that if King O is opposed, or approves of some matter in our Universe I stand on a distant shore.
Not that I necessarily agree with Putin’s actions in the Ukraine. But I certainly object to Mr. Pouty Face constantly throwing his two cents in. With King O’s grimacing looks, he obviously lacks potency, and he isn’t fooling anyone. Unfortunately, he continues to make America a laughing stock around the globe. Sanctions? What a joke! Hey, Mr. Pouty Face, Putin has more nunchuck skills in his ex-KGB bag than you can imagine. If you keep poking at a rattlesnake, eventually you will be bitten. King O could get taken to the proverbial wood shed by Putin, and experience his Come-to-Jesus Moment anytime now. Unfortunately for the rest of us, he could get us all nuked.

I will get back to Mr. Pouty Face, and the Putin-Ukraine situation in a minute, but first some other information to consider in bolstering my theory.
For instance, take the Palestinians, please, take them! They chant, “push the Jew into the sea”, yet no outcry from King O, aka Mr. Pouty Face. In fact, he threatens Israel with sanctions if they do not concede land, to those who want to push them into the sea! How nuts is that? Unless of course one is pro-Muslim.

Muslim dominated countries are killing its Coptic Christians left and right, but no outcry from King O about this either. Nope, not a peep.
Egypt experienced what King O, and his beloved media praised, calling the movement, “the Arab Spring”. What it really was, was a Muslim extremist coup de tat. Two years later the non-extremist Egyptian Muslims and Christians took back their country.
Kicking out the Muslim Brotherhood appointed President Moursi. The actions which Mr. Pouty Face so vehemently condemned. The Egyptian people have been freed. I hope you saw the video on the World Wide Web, showing the handmade anti-Obama posters all over the place in Egypt. Even the Egyptians know whom Mr. Pouty Face supports.

What about South Sudan, where the majority, 82% per Wikipedia, is Christian.? Yet the Sudan has a majority, 98% Muslim population. The Muslims continue to invade the South, leaving death and destruction along its boarders, and outlying towns and villages. Not a peep, or a pout from our Crayon-coloring-line drawing president.
So now let’s talk the Ukraine. Have you asked yourself why is Obama so ticked off about the Ukraine? Why does King O seem to go silent on just as important world situations? After all, the Ukraine is Russian territory, and has been for around 2,000 years, per Wikipedia. Yes, they had a recent split.
Let’s look at some other Ukrainian facts. In the southeastern most area of the Ukraine, is the Crimea. There live the Muslim Tartars. This group was responsible for Russia’s Beslan School massacre. You might remember that. A group of Muslim invaders took control of an Elementary school, in which they slaughtered dozens of children, and their teachers. Pictures are on Youtube, and slaughtered is a very appropriate term.
As I write, the news for Russia, and the Ukraine keeps shifting. Currently it looks as though the Ukraine and the Crimea will again be joined to Mother Russia. It also appears that this is all bad news for Muslims in those areas. Also bad news for Turkey and Erdogan, King O’s buddy. Turkey lies just across the sea. Turkey will now have Putin at their front door. No padding between the two, just an itty bitty ocean.
I think this is why King O has his panties in a wad. Well, you might say no, it has to do with the oil rich lands that the Crimea has, which will now be under Putin’s control. Yet in oil rich America, King O has done his best to regulate to death our own production of oil, and energy sources. Causing us to remain continually indebted to the Muslim Saudi’s. Oh, that reminds me, don’t you remember when King O bent over to give the Saudi king a nice big bow? The Keystone pipeline is also a no go with Mr. Pouty Face, via another televised appearance. With me again cussing at my TV, as I’m running for the remote.

King O, with his pouty face, concerning the Ukraine, has everything to do with his pro-Muslim stance, displayed for all the world to see, prompted by his bro-mance with Erdogan, who is shaking in his sandals knowing that Putin is very much anti-Muslim, and is now able to reach out and touch him. Erdogan has suppressed Turkey’s western loving citizens, with his Muslim Brotherhood ways. Erdogan knows Putin will not take any crap from the Islamic radicals swarming the area. Period.

Pro-Muslim Mr. Pouty Face is having a meltdown.

Putin and Obama – Opposite Sides of a Different Coin

Remember this?Obama warned Russian president Vladimir Putin that “there will be costs for any military intervention in Ukraine."
What “costs” will be paid Mr. President? There will be no military cost. Putin knows that. There will be no military cost paid by the Ukrainians who gave up most of their weapons and all their nuclear deterrence long ago in exchange for a hollow American and European promise to come to their defense. Putin knows this.

Putin has been watching – watching community organizer Obama slip from one international blunder to another. From Egypt to Libya – from Afghanistan to Syria.

Yes, Puty-Pute has been watching Obama lead from behind as he recites lofty rhetoric from his teleprompter.
Putin knows exactly who he’s dealing with and Neville Obama hasn’t a clue who he is up against. And that also goes for the Obama brain-trust like Hagel and the erudite John Kerry, who fought in Vietnam, don’t ya know.
Putin is no diplomat. He’s a ruthless KGB warrior. Obama is whatever the opposite of that is.
Vlad doesn’t care about sanctions on a few low level bureaucrats. He knows there will be no military response by the U.S., nor should there be. Crimea or Ukraine isn’t worth WWIII.

Back on March 1^st, Johnny McCain called on Obama to “articulate exactly what those costs will be and to take steps urgently to impose them. Every moment that the United States and our allies fail to respond sends the signal to President Putin that he can be even more ambitious and aggressive in his military intervention in Ukraine.”

Now I’m no fan of Obama, and that’s putting it kindly, but someone needs to muzzle McCain. Those types of dopey blustering statements don’t help.

But you asked it, you might say. Why can’t McCain? Because when McCain says it, the whole world is listening. I ask it rhetorically. I know this administration is full of peaceniks and unilateral downsizers who have no plan to inflict a “cost” on Vlad the Impaler. Maybe if Putin was a member of the Tea Party it would be a different story.

Obama still maintains that a peaceful, diplomatic resolution to the crisis is still possible. “Going forward, we can calibrate our response based on whether Russia chooses to escalate or de-escalate the situation.”
In other words, we don’t have a frickin’ clue what do, and I’m just buying time until someone can come rescue me from this situation so that I may take another vacation.

I know what we can do! What we always do – throw money at the problem!

Earlier this month Kerry offered $1 billion in American loan guarantees to the new leadership in Kiev. Good plan. We want to make sure the Ukrainian debt has been paid up prior to the Russian takeover. We must assure the new Russian territory is on firm financial footing.
But fear not. Russia’s defense chief Sergei Shoigu assured Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel on Thursday that Russian forces along Ukraine’s eastern border have no intention of crossing into Ukrainian territory.

You’ll notice old Sergei said they have “no intention.” He didn’t say “we will not invade Ukraine.” It’s kind of like a politician saying they have no intention of running for another office . . . until they do, and they always do.

So what’s going to happen? Your guess is as good as mine, nor do I know what our response will or should be. I do know that someone had better come up with a good one or Vlad will start to roll and he won’t be satisfied with just Ukraine.

I wouldn’t want to be Belarus, Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania, or . . . South America.
