VA CLAIMS VETERANS IRRELEVANT!

Once again, the VA claims “success” over the backlog and accuracy of the claims they are processing. The VBA is now professing to have reached their self-stated goal of “90% Accuracy”, and are “almost there” with getting rid of the backlog.

NOTHING could be further from the truth. The VA’s Monday Morning Workload Report (MMWR) of 4/7/2014 can be found here: http://www.vba.va.gov/REPORTS/mmwr/

The Total Claims Inventory is: 1,650,306 (VA only reporting 614,641) = 1,035,665 claims not being discussed (“not relevant” according to the VBA).

The Total Claims Backlog is: 877,955 (VA only reporting 337,357)= 540,598 claims not being discussed (“not relevant” according to the VBA).

To recap: According Tampa Bay Online (TBO), and Lauren and Jim Price from www.veteranwarriors1.com, a group dedicated to help veterans….General Eric Shinseki, the Secretary of Veterans Affairs will NOT discuss preventable deaths, criminal employees, providing chronically sub-par leaders with huge bonuses, thousands of veteran complaints and most egregious of all: That over 1.5 MILLION veterans are “NOT RELEVANT”!
