Democrats and their liberal operatives have been unable to gain any traction from the party's hallmark reform.

Remember in March when the White House told Americans, most of whom were infuriated over ObamaCare's passage, that they eventually would accept it? And that this would be the trump card for Democrats in the midterm elections?

Well, government's health-care cure is still going down like castor oil for most citizens, judging from recent surveys, as states challenge its very constitutionality.

A Pew Research poll last month showed the majority of Americans still disapprove of ObamaCare. Except the gap in public disapproval has widened from 4 percentage points in April to 12 points in July.

In the latest national phone survey by Rasmussen Reports, 60 percent of respondents said they want health "reform" repealed. Other polls reflecting the public's dissatisfaction have remained steadfast since spring.

Then there's this month's ballot initiative in Missouri: 71 percent of voters said they don't want to be forced to buy health insurance or otherwise pay a fine.

For all their distortions, damage control and outright lies about better living through ObamaCare, Democrats and their liberal operatives have been unable to gain any traction from the party's hallmark reform.

And for this they must take their medicine on Nov. 2.
