Tea Party Patriots Saturday Surge on DC

Tea Party Patriots is already in the process of planning another surge on Capitol Hill this Saturday called Operation Urgent Care. The tentative plans to meet
Saturday March 20th at 10am at the East Lawn of the Capitol (East Capitol Circle, same side of the Capitol as the Supreme Court Building).

“Many people are emailing us requesting we be available in DC on Saturday, March 20. For that reason we will be back in DC on Capitol Hill
Saturday, March 20 at 10:00 am, we are asking for those who can come to
DC, to come back. We will have a brief rally and then divide up to go
walk the halls of Congress. Before the House vote on government
takeover of health care in November, there are lots of government
health care advocates walking the halls of Congress keeping track of
how the Congressmen would vote. We are asking you to do the same. You
are the ordinary citizen not a lobbyist or other special interest. They
are elected to represent you. They need to be reminded one last time
who you are and why you do not want this bill to pass.â€

Event Description.All Tea Party members in Michigan are invited to ride the "Party Bus" to Washington DC this weekend. We will be meeting with the Congressman for each district represented on the bus including Rep. Mark Schauer (Michigan 7th). Rep. Schauer has broken with the Democratic Party a number of times including on the issue of raising the debt limit. There is reason to believe our efforts can be fruitful.

Congressman Steve King of Iowa was just on Glenn Becks radio show and urged everyone to go to DC and shut the city down to block all entry and exit points and this will force them (Congress) to recapitulate and vote the bill down, and that we in America are now the same as Prague in 1989.

He also mentioned how on the Sabbath they will be voting on the most sweeping changes to our country in its history. Glenn referred to it as an assault on God by Congress.

MIchele Bachmann, Glenn Beck, Mike Pence, Steve King, John Boehner, Jon Voight have all been asking as many ppl as can get to DC this weekend and must be ready to keep vigil thru the night saturday night into sunday

Listening to Rush and a bus load of Senior Citizens came up from Florida to walk the hall of Congress.

Congressmen Paul Ryan called into Rush and told him that the votes are still moving - that they don't have the votes NOW - But they are still saying they will have the votes by Sunday - and are still planning on voting Sunday.

Paul Ryan said the phones are crazy and that people are more engaged than ever! He said to see a bus load of Seniors all the way from Florida says something.

I think the Tea Partiers will have a larger group than the anti-American amnesty marchers on Sunday. I wonder what will happen if the Tea Partiers gather again on Sunday?

I think the crowd against the health care bill is going to be much larger than the illegal crowd.
