I do not envy the country, whose leader becomes a Nobel Laureate. The majority of such leaders brought their peoples nothing, but misfortunes, failures, defeats and humiliations.

John Hume, the Leader of the Social Democratic and Labor Party, and David Trimble, the leader of the Ulster Unionist Party received the Nobel Peace Prize in 1998.
