The mainstream media continues to embarrass itself.
On nearly every big story they have been on the wrong side of it.
The worst case of this was Russiagate.

New reporting and the recent indictment of dossier contributor led The Post to decide it could no longer stand by the stories.

“The Washington Post took the unusual step of correcting and removing large portions of two articles, published March 2017 and February 2019, that had identified a Belarusian American businessman as a key source of the “Steele Dossier,” a collection of largely unverified reports that claimed the Russian government had compromising information about then-candidate Donald Trump.”
Side note:
The Steele dossier was not “a collection of largely unverified reports.”
The Steele dossier was Clinton campaign funded Russian disinformation.
