LULAC Joins Better Health Care Together Coalition to Advocate for a New American Health Care System
(Washington, DC) -- Better Health Care Together (BHCT) today announced that The League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) has joined its coalition and will participate in their efforts to fix the nation’s broken health system. They are the newest addition to the diverse coalition of concerned leaders from the business, labor, and public policy sectors dedicated to urging public leaders to build a new American health care system by the year 2012.
“Because of the disproportionate number of Hispanics who are uninsured and under-insured, LULAC strongly urges a health care coverage plan that insures all people in an equitable manner,â€

LULAC's horde of illegal alien invaders is one of the main reasons why healthcare in this country is so expensive.

Yeah, anything that looks like it's cheap or free, LULAC and all the other Hispanic organizations will get behind.

[quote]"Hispanic patients should not have to choose between purchasing groceries or buying medication"
I guess it's OK for us non-Hispanics to have to do this - isn't that some kind of racism?

Why shouldn't Hispanic patients have to choose between buying groceries and medicine? I've been making that choice since I was forced into disability retirement. Most recently, I had to stop taking one of my medications when even the generic brand was over $200 per month. We, of necessity, adopted our great-grand-son. We are both on Medicare - he is not eligible. We pay $122 per month for coverage that, after a $500 out of pocket deductible, will pay 80% of his medical bills, not counting medicine - no coverage for that. If we were not paying for so many people who have no right to even be here, maybe medicade could change their rules to accept people like my adopted son!

It appears they are better than the 'non-hispanics'. Preferencial treatment is becoming the norm...get them some pillows.
We are NOT a nation of immigrants!
