Del Rio, Texas - U.S. Border Patrol agents throughout Del Rio Sector seized more than 1,000 pounds of marijuana, with an estimated value of $831,480.On July 13, agents from the Eagle Pass Station working in the Quemado area seized 443 pounds of marijuana worth an estimated $354,720. (more)

Hidalgo, Texas - Officers with U.S. Customs and Border Protection arrested a Reynosa, Tamaulipas, Mexico woman in connection with a failed smuggling attempt of cocaine valued at approximately $1,453,000.The seizure/arrest occurred on Thursday morning, July 18, when CBP officers working at the Hidalgo-Reynosa International Bridge encountered a red 2001 Ford Mustang driven by a 20-year-old female Mexican citizen. Brownsville, Texas - U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers at the Gateway International Bridge on Thursday discovered cocaine valued at approximately $598,400 hidden within a Ford F-150 pickup.On Thursday at the Gateway International Bridge, CBP officers came in contact with the driver of a red 1999 Ford F-150 identified as a 22-year-old man.
